A/N
I want to give you guys an explanation on the chapter titles. I kind get an idea of what might happen in the current chapter, or I think about something that might come up in a chapter soon after. This quickly turned into a thing, and now my chapter titles make so little sense, even I have trouble remembering why I named everything the way I did.
So, let's have some fun, shall we?
I'll let my community argue about the names of the chapters and what they mean, and I'll watch from a distance laughing my ass off. Just so everyone knows, the chapter titles are scrambled to a point where it would nearly be impossible to tell what they mean even after staring at it for over an hour, partly because I sometimes use the antonym of a word instead of a synonym, and nobody would ever know. Hint, this chapter's title comes from something that started in the last chapter.
-Foxy Pov-
I opened my eyes and saw Freddy standing above me. I whimpered and was about to try and run when I saw a man standing beside him. I remembered what Chica said about working with the mechanic, so I went quiet and stayed put.
"We're going to work on you in parts and services, okay?" said the mechanic. He had a calm and soothing voice, calming me down. I nodded and pulled off the covers. "So, I heard there was an incident involving your central control chip, am I correct?"
"Y-yes." I spoke. He was very nice, so it made it easy to be on my best behavior. Freddy led us both over to parts and services, leaving us to the task at hand.
"Would you want to be awake, or should I power you off?" He asked.
"Umm, I think I'd rather be powered off." He began to circle me, inspecting the damage. It had only been one day and there were already some signs of wear and tear all over. "Is now good?"
"Whatever works!" He said with a smile. "But could you teach me how to power you off safely?"
"W-well, first you have to open me back panel, and then press the big blue power button. It's simple." I felt him take out the screws and panel, and then I lost all consciousness faster than I could blink.
-Mechanic Pov-
I pushed the power button and he collapsed. "Well, that was easy." I sighed and got to work. I lifted him off the ground onto a table nearby and rested him face up. I looked around and found an old animatronic manual on one of the shelves and read the whole thing, making sure I could do this so both of us were happy and safe.
I used my drill on the faceplate, pulling it off, and setting it down on another table to the side. I turned him over and flipped the 3 switches it told me to do, and I knew I did it right when the faint humming stopped. I grabbed my tweezers and carefully extracted the chip, looking at it in horror.
The whole thing was broken in half, and each piece was holding itself to the other with fizzled and sparking wires. The thing was smaller than I expected, since it was an old animatronic, but I grabbed a replacement from a nearby shelf and slotted it in.
I then ran testing procedures (Fnaf SB vibes), making sure everything was working the way that it should, before returning the back panel and faceplate. Finally, I powered him back on.
"So, how does it feel?" I asked. He moved around, then got up and walked around the room.
"I-I-It feels nice." He spoke.
"Are you in any more pain? Is anything not functioning correctly? Now's your last call for repairs, so you better make it count!"
"No, I think I'm good!" He said, smiling. Then his smile quickly turned into a frown.
"Is something wrong?"
"The o-others haven't been very nice r-recently. . ." He told me.
"In what sense? And why?" I asked genuinely curious about his predicament.
"Well, something happened yesterday that I'd rather not share, and now they've been making me clean the pizzeria. And whenever I stop t-they. . ." Tears started to fill his eyes. I was amazed at how they had so much emotion and feelings!
"I can't really do anything to help you physically, but I can give you advice. To get someone to forgive you, you have to try and ignore everything bad they did to you, and everything bad you did to them. Make sure they know this and be an even better friend than you ever were before. Keep asking them if they forgive you. This has worked for me more times than I'd like to mention."
"Thank ye!" Said Foxy. He walked over and gave me a hug, and I smiled. We walked out so we could find Freddy and leave.
-Freddy Pov-
Foxy and mechanic made their way out of parts and service, so they were obviously done. I walked over to them, smiling. "So, how's it feel?" I asked Foxy.
"I-It, well, it feels, f-fine?" He said nervously. I punched his arm, pretending for it to be in a playful way in front of the mechanic. I don't really know why it mattered that much to try and lie to him, but I did anyways.
"Well, I better get going. It was nice doing business with you two!" He said, walking out the door. As soon as he left, I pushed Foxy over and kicked him so hard he flew halfway across the party room into the edge of the stage.
He groaned in pain, wrapping himself into a ball and whimpering. I lifted him by his tail and carried him over to Pirate's Cove, throwing him into his bed with so much force it nearly broke. I slammed the door closed and walked away.
I couldn't believe I had to spend $200 on that fox just so he could perform for the kids.
