It is the 7th Era of the New World and the Human Empire of Eastern Front is at war with the Beast Tribes of the Southern Lands. The war has been going on for 5 years strong having the empire resort to conscriptions and drafts. With no end in sight the people of the Human Empire have become restless, and civil discourse permeates throughout the Empire's territories. While this uncertainty does plague the people of the Empire, there are Exiles who would have no allegiance to the Empire itself and would care less as to what would happen to them. Spurned by the Empire, why would they care for those who had rejected their ancestor's wisdom? That is what all exiles believed since birth... all except one. An exile who saw what would happen should the empire fall, and how it would affect not only the citizens but everyone who is under the empire's territories. This is the story of a warrior named Hiryu.
