— the suggestion.

"tzuyu-yah, let's make pastries." you said, sitting down next to your closest friend.

"when?" tzuyu asked, not lifting her head from the book she was reading.

"today." you said.

"at what time?" she asked.

"when you're done reading." you said. "what are you reading?"

"i'm reading 'i see you like a flower' by na tae-joo." tzuyu said, turning the page.

"ah, is it good?"

"yea, i like it a lot." the brunette girl said.

"that's good." you said, resting your head on tzuyu's shoulder.

"do you want to read... with me." tzuyu suggested.

"sure, what's it about?"

"it's a collection of poems, they're all very interesting." tzuyu explained.

"which one is your favorite?" you asked.

"my favorite has to be 눈부신 세상 (dazzling world)." she said.

"can you read it to me?" you asked.

"of course." tzuyu said, flipping to the page.

"from a distance, sometimes the world
small and lovely
even warm
i raise my hand
stroking the head of the world
like a child waking up from sleep
the world opens it's eyes
smile at me
the world seems to be dazzling." tzuyu recited.

"i see why you like it." you said.

"we can start baking now." she said.

"we need to buy a few things first." you said, standing up from the couch.

"well then, let's go." tzuyu said, smiling widely.

after the impromptu shopping trip, you and tzuyu came back to her apartment and started getting everything set up.

"i'll make the batter and you preheat the oven." tzuyu said.

"yes ma'am." you saluted.

tzuyu giggled at your silly joke. you preheated the oven like tzuyu instructed you.

"i preheated the oven." you said, walking up to tzuyu. you stood still, observing her making the batter.

"great, take everything else out of the bags." tzuyu said, still working on the batter.

"got it!" you said.

you put everything in it's corresponding spot. "i finished."

"nice, could you finish mixing this while i go do something real quick?" tzuyu asked.

"of course." you smiled.

tzuyu went of to do something, while you stayed in the kitchen mixing the batter.

— with tzuyu.

"she's so diligent." tzuyu thinks, her eyes glistening at how competent you are.

knock knock

"tzuyu, i finished the batter." you informed.

"a-ah, coming." tzuyu said, changing her shirt quickly.

"you changed your shirt." you pointed out.

"yeah, i did. i thought i'd be more comfortable in this sweatshirt." tzuyu said, walking back to the kitchen.

"now we just put everything in the oven right?" you asked, walking right behind her.

"yeah, that's all that's left aside from decorating." she responded.
