Living In A Dream

He was awakened by the sensation of Dan lightly rubbing his side. Tommy didn't move at first, he lay there with his eyes closed and just enjoyed the soothing feeling of Dan's hand lightly gliding across his skin. He relished in the vulnerability of it and didn't want to disturb whatever Dan was thinking. He could feel Dan's body pressed against his own while he lay still.

"Whatcha thinkin about?" Tommy finally broke the silence with his recent sleep still evident in his gravely voice.

"Just watching you sleep so peacefully." Dan explained. "It's been an insane couple of days. I guess there wasn't a sequel dream for ya?" as he let a little giggle break through the morning air.

"I feel like I'm living a dream right now." Tommy replied. "It has been an insane weekend."

They laid there in Dan's sleeping bag, cuddled up in a comfortable silence a little longer. Tommy knew what he was thinking however most of his mind was interested in Dan and what was going through his head. He knew this camping trip would come to an end sooner than later.

"What happens next?" Tommy asked, again breaking the pleasant silence between them. "I know you can't promise anything, but what happens when we leave here?"

"I don't know. I don't really wanna think about it Tommy!" Dan was honest in his answer. Out there, reality would set in and he didn't know how to deal with that yet. Here, it was safe.

"I think we're gonna have to at some point soon. We can't stay here forever Danny boy." Tommy said still in a peaceful place.

Dan told him that he thought in a perfect world, people wouldn't judge them, they wouldn't think bad of them and that here at their campsite, things felt safe and good and that he was enjoying their journey. He also shared his fears of their friends and his parents again. "Can we just enjoy this while we have it and think about all of that later?" He asked as he ended his explanation.

"I guess if that's what you want Dan." Tommy"s response was not exactly what Dan was hoping for, but he truly didn't know yet. "I'm scared too." Tommy continued. "This is all brand new to me too. But being with you, like this right now just feels right." Tommy finished.

"I agree baby, that's why I don't want to muddy the water with all that shit right now." Dan answered earnestly as he leaned in and put his lips on Tommy's neck and started lightly covering it in warm wet kisses.

Tommy twisted his head to give his friend easier access to once again drive him crazy. With each kiss, Dan was gifted with deep passionate sighs and light moans echoing from the throat he could feel vibrate under his lips. There was something about how easy it was to turn his closest friend into mush so easily that excited him.

"Sometimes I think I could do this to you every day Tommy! You're so cute when you melt for me." he admitted before dropping his next kiss on Tommy's collarbone.

Tommy quickly dropped the conversation at hand and let Dan take him over. Dan's hands once again started exploring Tommy's body as he kissed Tommy's neck. Fingertips grazed slowly down the side of Tommy's naked body along his ribs, down his side, and back up over his hip.

He moved down the skin of his friend's ass cheek that wasn't blocked by his own body then crossed up and over, moving his hand up the center of Tommy's stomach and chest. When he got back to Tommy's neck, he wrapped his hand around Tommy's throat and gently added a little pressure.

After a whimper pushed through Tommy's constricted throat. "Ya like that?" Dan asked.

"Mmhmm" was the only sound Tommy could make in his current state while nodding confirmation to Dan's question.
