Hadley's pov

It was the first day back at school and I couldn't be more excited

I was never one to ever like school, I just go there to hang with my best friend and get away from my family

Oh btw my besties name is Josie Baker

Josie and I have been best friends ever since grd 2

We've been inseparable ever since we met!

It was early in the morning on a Monday as I was facetiming Josie

We were picking out our outfits for back to school

" Ugh Josie why the hell is picking an outfit so damn hard! "

I said angrily as I stomped my foot on the ground

I could hear her small voice giggling from the other end, & that made my face flare up even more

" If me picking an outfit is sooo funny Josie u tell me ur outfit. "

I rolled my eyes as my arms found their way crossing my chest

I was usually always a moody person in the mornings

" Okay fine since ur practically begging me to show u I will. "

I flopped myself down on the ground as I stared into my phone as I watched her grab a neat pile off her dresser

" This is what I'm wearing today "

She beamed into her phone as she showed me a simple yet cute outfit

A plain black t-shirt with ripped jeans and some converse, and ofc she can't go a day without jewelry

I laughed as I found myself rolling my eyes

" What's so funny Cooper? "

She raised an eyebrow thru her phone at me as my mouth snapped shut

" Nothinggg it's cute I guess, well I mean if u wanna go simple "

" Do u really expect me, or anyone to come back to school in like a ball gown Hadley? "

I found myself snorting as I covered my mouth

" Umm.. no obviously not.. anyway I gotta go so I can pick an outfit and be on my way to school, talk later "

I blew her a kiss and winked before I hung up

Okay now I gotta find something...

I thought to myself as I stared at my closet of clothes

"  Eh whatever I guess I'll go basic too "

I grabbed a white crop top and some ripped jeans and threw them on

I dug threw my jewelry as I found a two necklaces and a cute ring

I put them on and did my short hair they way I liked it

After I grabbed my makeup and applied a simple look on me, I also grabbed my favorite light pink lipgloss and shoved it in my bag

I then threw a small zip up hoodie in and tied my shoes up and headed out the door

I was walking along the sidewalk as I saw Josie waiting in our spot

I ran to her and gave her a big hug as she did the same

" Ah I missed u sm!! "

She said while jumping a bit, I smiled back and started walking with her to school
