"Hurry! She's almost there!"

Ezra ran ahead of everyone else, attempting to catch up with their enemy. The sirens blared, and metal doors rolled closed around him. Where did she go? Gah! At this rate, the Syroan Crew was going to fail!

Look, a hallway! Perhaps she-

BAM!

A door slammed in front of him. He skittered back, as his body had almost been crushed by it. Everything was just locking down. Still, there was no sign of her. None at all.

Flame rushed to the door and spit at it. Sounds weird, but he could spit lava, so it was quite helpful. It began to melt away, and Flame crawled through.
Ezra watched the hole sizzle, and he was hesitant to try and climb through. He was going to have quite a few burns if he did.
Luckily, E touched the frame, and the whole thing just froze over. Now it was safe to pass.

E climbed through, then Ezra, and finally the rest of the group. Ha! Not even a solid metal door can stop them!
Where did Flame go? He's gonna mess this up if he keeps running ahead.

They were now in a small hallway where the floor was made of hardwood, and the walls of marble. Lanterns hung unlit above them, and paintings of the stars littered the walls. Just up ahead was an open room where it seemed moonlight illuminated everything. Flame stood there at the entrance, and yelled at someone inside.
"HEY! PUT THAT BACK!"

Creeping up on the room, Teesha and Palace pulled out makeshift spears made of thorns, a commonly made weapon in the Spider Kingdom called a "Shizak". They were not going into a battle empty handed.
Palace took the left side, and Teesha took the right. They're faces said it all, that they meant serious business.
In fact, the entirety of the team meant business. If she destroys that telescope... it's game over.

Walking into the huge circular room, it became apparent that the Syroan Crew was in an observatory. There was paintings of distant planets in other star systems, and star maps, and calculations of space  all over the marble and wooded walls. All around the base of the walls were tables, and those tables were cluttered with models of star systems, a couple models of Syroah, candles, old books, and some old journals of those who used to work here.

And what do you know, sitting right at the bottom of the giant telescope in the middle of the room, trying to disassemble it, is their enemy.

"Ciri!"

She dropped the wrench, and turned around to look at the group with a smile.
"Oh... I was wondering when you guys would get here.
Ciri stood up slowly and stretched her arms.
"I've been waiting  forever."

Flame was not amused by her.
"Why?"

"Why what?"

"Why the heck are you stealing the telescope?"

Ciri just stared at Flame, still with a smile, and then slowly shook her head.
"Ah, you wouldn't understand. You could never understand. I have no need to share you my plan either."
She picked up her wrench again, and the group readied with their weapons.
The villain raises an eyebrow.
"Hmm? Why so worried? Are you going to hurt me for taking an ancient telescope? Would that make you good people? Honestly, I haven't even threatened you."

E lowered her weapon, a spring steel rapier. "Good Rita, we're not going to hurt you. We just can't let you steal a artefact from an old monument."
Something had to be up. In Ezra's mind, Ciri probably had some already planned out trap waiting around for them, she always did.

The group slowly entered the room. Ciri pocketed the wrench, and instead pulled a weapon from her own pocket.
"You really want to stop me? Well, go ahead and try!"
