"Kris, what should we do?"

The pinknette chews her lips anxiously, the report Wakiya said is way too sudden. She never foresees the WBBA council would perform such things. They don't usually intervene in bladers' activities, they focus more on acquiring funds, and sponsors to make a good tournament. So what's with this unexpected development?

It's way too suspicious if you think about it.

What could be the reason they want to ban Shu?

Is it because joining the Snake Pit makes Shu's action illegal? Are they even informed that the tournament they endorse was using the bladers as a pawn in an experiment? They didn't even run a background check for heaven's sake! They regard wealth more than anything in this world, so disgusting.

But, are they the ones who did it? Or someone is controlling in the shadow...

That's it, she needs to act immediately before things get worse.

"First of all, don't inform Shu...yet, contact Trad first because he knows what to do. As for us, we would go to the WBBA council to convince them to withdraw their verdicts." Kris orders with an authoritative tone that makes the other two nod.

"And what if they refuse?" Wakiya inquired.

Kristina sighed, "Then we have no option but to make a scheme. But before that, we need to solve this without using rash movements"

🌸

"We would not withdraw our verdicts, Shu Kurenai is prohibited from blading and that's final. You, kids, understand nothing so stay out of it" An old man with dirty yellow hair and amber eyes - namely Tsukori - said while grunting at the same time.

Those words make the three stiffen in their positions, the one who is affected the most is the bluenette who clenches his fist tightly until it turns white. The other two share a look at each other, worried painted in their eyes, unsure of what to do. That aside, the fury of anger is boiling on their skins. Wakiya is gritting his teeth in frustration and Kris is clenching her fist tightly nearly turning white.

It's time to step up.

"In that case, could we at least know the reason why? Please explain it carefully 'cause we kids don't understand " Wakiya asserted first, using an honest passive-aggressive move, a not-so-obvious smirk play on his lips, making the council look at him warily. The Wyvern blader could catch sight of the precise moment they stiffen at his action, they didn't expect they would not give up easily.

There are 8 members of the council, most of them are old people with prosperous businesses, part of the high-ranking society, and hold great power.

Wakiya's action is risky as you could see, he's being against the council and terrible rumors might disperse. This could lead to tainting the precious name he's holding on to, being the successor to the prestigious Murasaki, he must constantly be meticulous in his activity. One bad move and he will suffer the consequences, he knew the stake of what he was doing nonetheless he was already prepared to accomplish anything for his precious friend and fight for what was right.

A fake cough breaks the silence and the 3 kids look over to the other old man, who has cobalt hair and deep green eyes - namely Franklin.

"Shu Kurenai is banned for all the bad deeds he performed. First, he joined an illegal and unknown organization known as Snake Pit. Secondly, he makes an uproar among the bladers. We receive a lot of complaints and reports that he destroyed a lot of Beyblades so we couldn't ignore that. And lastly, the ultimate reason is that he is corrupted and dangerous to the Beyblade world. A blader like him is not needed." Frankly harshly said.

The blue spiky-haired boy feels hurt upon hearing this, gathering all courage he stored,  he tried to speak up.

"Shu didn't mean all of those things. He was manipulated by Theodore Glass and he's not corrupted anymore " Valt clarified, defending his best friend but his words fall on deaf ears.

The old man - Franklin - noticeably doesn't affect by the newly championed statement.

"You have no proof, young man. Moreover, you're accusing the man who contributed a lot to the Beyblade world, and since Shu already experience corruption, there's a chance he will be corrupted again so that makes him a threat." Tsukori speaks again this time, rude as usual.

(Ah yes, here it is)

The truth finally comes out to the surface

They are siding with that man.

No matter how Valt's statements are credible, it doesn't change the fact that manipulating kids is no crime because there is no law for that. Since manipulation is solely verbal use, there are no ways a shred of evidence could be present, contrary to abuse where you could reveal your scars. Even though Shu can record all the things Theodore said to him, they will just blame Shu for believing or failing what the man words. Or even though the manipulation is verified, Theodore wouldn't attain a punishment. That's the harsh truth of this world.

That makes Theodore Glass and dangerous threat and enemy. It will be hard to take him down.

Shu's case is hard, no matter what approach you do, it will lead to loss through the end.

Valt starts to shake upon hearing that, the thought of his best friend not being able to blade breaks his heart more than anyone. The Valkyrie blader hates this, it feels so unfair. Shu deserves a second chance!

Sensing the negative emotion the brunette emits, the pink-haired manager put her hands on his tense shoulder making the younger boy snap in reality and look over at the older teen girl who is smiling at him in comfort.

The BC Sol manager takes a deep breath and straightens her back to face the council, from the start, she already loathes this newly corrupt council because of the suspicious action they did in the past. She's been struggling to rebel against them in the past because of the scheme they're trying to pull off in BC Sol and Free. Fortunately, they didn't succeed but they all conceded that Kris and BC Sol are the enemies they were willing to take down since they didn't want to collaborate.

She hates them and they hate her as well.

"In that case, is there a way to revoke Shu's verdict?" This time, Kristina make her move. Arguing will just lead to nothing, going to court is bothersome as well. Trying to ease up the situation might be a good help. They started the fire as their first shot, and now pouring some water is the next one.

The council is starting to get irritated by the situation.

"Nothing and that's final. Get out of here already!" The old man snarled in irritation, and the others nod as well. Ah yes, she just speak and they all already get so worked up.

So rude, they didn't even elaborate on more details. Well, this certainly implies that they have no intention of getting on further and keep on sabotaging this case.

The three have no option but to step out in the meantime before they call the guards to kick them out.

The outcome today is already anticipated from the start, there's no way to win against those old stubborn people who already got paid.

In today's battle, they lost.

Yet that doesn't suggest they will give up already. After all...

Things often seem at their worst just before they get better.
