"Girl where you at ? Pop out" my bestfriend Traniah had spoke from the other end of the phone as I held it up to my ear.
Me and Niah had really been locked in since the sand box , more like a sister then a bestfriend. When you seen her you seen me and it's always been like that.
"Omg niah im so tired I just got off work" i sighed locking the doors of my shop on Chicago ave . I had just opened the shop not too long ago it's really just a side hustle along with me being in nursing school you always have to have a back up plan.
"Kota you is coming outside tonight the niggas Finna be out , it's my cousin welcome home party. Remember the one who got locked up when we was kids?" she said making me furrow my eyebrows trying to think as im walking to my car unlocking it getting in before starting it up finally remembering who she's talking about while im backing out the parking space.

"Girl yes him" i could hear in her voice the excitement.
"Bitch what the fuck didn't he murder somebody" i scrunched up my face pulling up into the McDonald's that's right down the street from my shop.
"Girl yea but shit I guess they didn't have enough evidence-" she cut her sentence short "hollon sis this juandae" she said referring to her boyfriend. "Ight" I pulled up to the intercom ordering my food after the worker spoke.
"Can i get a ten piece chicken nugget meal , a large coke along with a carmel frappe. That's all" I spoke before getting my total and I paid at the next window with my card then pulled up at the last one seeing my lil brother girlfriend makin me smile "Hey ariana" I spoke as she smiled back handing me my drink and food bag.
"Hey girl where you been ian been seeing you as when I be coming over to yo crib" .
"girl i been working n shit literally all day everyday type shit fr barely any sleep my bestie tryna get me to go to this party tonight but im so tired" I said seein some teenage boy's eying me from behind her makin me laugh causin her to turn around
"my sister do not want yall dusty asses!" She yelled before turning around back to me.
"Anyways girl you talking about dooda ass? Yea I heard everyone gon be there gon head and get you a lil boo for the summer " .
