Differences: The remaster will feature 3 more characters that I created. These 3 characters, along with Amethyst Beloved's character, Kai, are the friends that Takashi made after Chiharu departed. Also, I changed Kai's surname to "Ishikawa", since "Ichimaya" isn't real. One more thing, this episode has an Amethyst Beloved Easter egg at the end.

Chapter V: Bravery

{First Day}

~Tomoeda Junior High~

Summer Break was over, and the group was ready for school, and the arrival of Autumn. Sakura managed to finish Summer Break by revealing her magic powers, as well as Syaoran's and Eriol's, to her longtime friend, Chiharu. However, thanks to their latest riddle, the foursome-turned-group of six are now on the lookout for a fourth couple, which might turn their group from six to eight.

~Classroom~

As the six were chatting to each other, while sitting at their respective desks, a young girl stepped into the classroom. That young girl was none other than Rika Sasaki, a seemingly mature girl with what some kids would call a peculiar crush on one of her teachers, Yoshiyuki Terada.

Rika: *Sits down at her respective desk* Okay. Now, we just need to wait until school starts. *Looks around to see Sakura at her desk talking quietly to Syaoran, Tomoyo & Eriol in the back, and, to her surprise, Takashi with Chiharu* On the other hand... *Gets up*

Despite her maturity, there were times that Rika can be prankish with her friends. Case in point, she decided to sneak over to where Chiharu and Takashi are sitting, before swiftly cover Chiharu's eyes.

Chiharu: What the-?!

Rika: Guess who! *Uncovers Chiharu's eyes*

Takashi: Is that you, Rika?

Chiharu: *Turns around* Rika! *Hugs Rika*

Rika: *Hugs back* It's been two years! *Breaks away* Why don't you tell me what's been happening?

Chiharu: I don't see why not.

As Chiharu told Rika about the past two years, and Summer Break, without revealing Sakura's secret, knowing that it would be best to let Sakura reveal it, they didn't notice a young, timid, raven-haired boy with blue eyes entering the classroom, trying to look for his respective desk.

???: *Walks to Eriol and Tomoyo* Excuse me. I... don't mean to bother you, or anyone else, but I'm looking for uh... *Shows them a layout of the classroom* ...Desk 1F?

Eriol: It should be... *Points to the desk next to Rika's* That one.

???: Okay. Thanks. *Walks to his respective desk*

Rika was back at her desk waiting for class to start, but she was getting impatient.

Rika: (It's only 5 minutes. It's not like it's going to kill me.)

???: Hey, Rika!

Rika: *Turns to see a brunette boy with hazel eyes talking to her* Oh, hey, Masaru. It's been a year since we were in the same classroom.

Masaru: Yeah. *Sits his respective desk in front of Rika's* Should we include the day we first met?

Rika: *Giggle* How could I forget that day? It was... *She slowly pauses, as she feels something odd*
