When we got to the forests car park we all put 30p towards the ticket, then we all walked into the forest.
"does anybody know their way round here?" I asked hopeful
everybody replied "no" except Alf, he said "kind of."
It began to get dark I'd picked Ratbaby up because she was tired.
"Does anybody know where we are, i'm begining to get creeped out!" Katrina whispered and then geoffrey stopped walking and stared ahead like he'd seen a ghost, he slowly lifted up his arm pointing in front of him trying to speak.
"geoffrey, breathe your words...." I eased
Then suddenly Katrina screamed Ratbaby started running and she wasn't coming back to my shouts. John hid behind me, I was so scared i couldn't move its like im there but i have no control what my body does, Alf rugby tackled me to the ground. I looked up to see a bright greeny-blue light spread across the forest, picking all of us up including Ratbaby, I felt as if the light was absorbing my energy and i was absorbing the light.
Suddenly the light disappeared and we all flew across the forest like birds causing us to seperate i hit a tree and fell to the floor and hit my head on the fountain we were looking for, OH MY GOSH IT WAS BEAUTIFUL nothing like id ever seen, it was a grey marble it had seating all the way around and had a statue of what looked like two angels and a baby as i looked innto the eyes of the baby i realised my head was bleeding alot I began getting sleepy.
As i woke up i heard voices i recognised "OH MY GOD SHES DEAD" Katrina said
"shes waking shhh!" Alf quietening
"COME ON! WAKE UP!"John shouting
"wheres Ratbaby?!" I said opening my eyes
"er.....erm....weeelll...."John stalling
"WHERES MY BABY!" i shouted
"we couldn't find her and geoffreys cars cars gone"
no suprise geoffrey was go as he always says 'i wait for no one'but where was my baby, worried i jump to my feet still dizzy from where i hit my head i almost fall again but john and alf catch me.
i looked at my phone 12 missed calls 5 from my mum, 5 of john and alf an 2 off geoffrey I also had 2 texts the one off my mum saying: come home when you get this
and the other off geoffrey saying: Sorry had to go, car towed got a broken arm and dont worry bout ratbaby i had to take her the vets she has 2 broken legs
I showed every one the text and i suggested we walk home but john had sprained his ankle and alf broke his big toe i had enough money to get us to my house by taxi. so i looked at my signal bar, it had a little r which means recieve only so i told every one " we need to get to the car park before we can do anything."
Me and Katrina had helped john and alf walked on his heel using a branch as a walking stick, we followed the path and then i could smell petrol. the sun made my head throb with pain. once we escaped the death trap for a forest, before dialling i joked in a sarcastic voice "lets go to the beach next time okay?" everybody giggled i rang the taxi off my phone that supprisingly still worked, after 10 minutes of waiting the taxi arrived.
Before i knew it i was home i prayed and thanked the taxi driver named bob. I unlocked the front door, mum was standing there i told alf to go upstairs, Katrina started walking home.
"can i use your toilet please" John awkwardly said
i nodded and helped him to the downstairs bathroom he knocked his foot on the door "ARGH!" John shouted grabbing his foot.
"whats wrong with your foot" my mum questioned
John replied " I've sprained my ankle"
"then why are you holding your foot?" my mum joked
"wheres my foot?" John asked sacastically
"on your leg...." mum replied jokingly
We all laughed and laughed eventually John went to the toilet and mum started asking me al sorts of questions.
"where were you?"
"new forest"
"why?"
"to see a fountain"
"why didn't you come home?"
"i wasn't exactly conscious....."
"why"
"i hit my head on the fountain"
"ARE YOU OKAY?! WHERE WAS EVERYONE ELSE?!"
"I've got a headache and we got seperated in the dark"
There was a small awkward cough coming from behind my mum it was John, GOD BLESS HIM he just saved me from what could have been hours of interigating.
