It was the next day and we were ready to tell our parents everything so, at 3 pm, we went to the park with our parents
"Mom, dad" Nathan says
"Um, Mom, Dad, Sir, Mrs." I say to get their attention
In unison, we hold hands and say, "I don't want to be this gender, anymore"
Then I speak "I don't care if you disown me or not but, my names Alexia, not Alex, and I'm dating Nathan, Not Natalie"
Then my parents speak first "Ok, we're happy for you both... Alexia and Nathan"
Then Nathans parents "So, we're not happy but, if your happy, it's fine Nathan, just know we accept you no matter what"
Nathan then starts crying, happy tears of course, and I cry with him, we could finally be called the right name, all the time, without feeling doubt. We were happy for once, we kissed lightly then went to my house for a sleepover
