Taemin was curled up in a blanket, sleeping soundly. His wife was also asleep but she had distanced herself from him. The two were both asleep until Taemin was shook awake by something grabbing his wrist. His eyes flicked open and he sat up quickly, he was a very light sleeper. The hand was still wrapped tightly around his wrist and pulling roughly, he realized that his wife was the one grabbing his wrist.
"Naeun, are you alright?" Taemin asked quietly, his wife had been very sick for the past two weeks.
There was no response, just a grunt. When Taemin spoke again she launched herself up and climbed on top of Taemin, wrapping her fingers tightly around his neck. Taemin pushed her off of him and got up.
"Naeun, stop!" he cried but she did not listen. She threw herself on him and bit his arm hard, he screamed out at the pain. Blood instantly gushed from the wound and he felt himself grow dizzy. Taemin once again pushed wife off of him this time hard enough for her to fall off the bed and against the wall. Taemin looked on in horror as she slid down the wall leaving a trail of blood from her head.
"Shit..." he whispered and expected his wife to respond but she didn't, she lay lifeless on the floor. Taemin couldn't comprehend what was happening, he got up and checked his wife's pulse and backed away slowly when there was none. Tears began to roll down his cheeks, his breaths grew shallow and fast. Taemin started to panic, he all but ignored his bleeding arm. All he could think to do was call Jinki, so that's what he did. He picked up his phone and dialed his hyung's number, he couldn't help but sob.
"Hello?" Jinki answered obviously groggy from sleep.
"Hyung, I need your help please! Hyung....." Taemin cried and he kept glancing over at his wife, hoping she would get up and come hold him, but she didn't.
"Taemin what happened? Are you alright?" Jinki asked and Taemin could hear Jinki get up from bed.
"No I'm not alright, Naeun....she....Hyung please just come help me!" Taemin sobbed into the phone, he took one final glance to Naeun and realized she had gotten up.
"Hyung." Taemin said hoping Jinki would come to his aid faster, he had no idea where Naeun had gone.
"Yes? Taeminnie what happened to Naeun?" Jinki asked and the panic was evident in his voice.
"She got up. I don't know where she is. Hyung she was dead just a few minutes ago....she is gone? Hyung please come now I'm scared!" Taemin said and he began to cry harder, he began to frantically look around for his wife.
"I will be there in a few minutes, I want you to stay by the front door." Jinki said and Taemin could hear him leaving his apartment.
"Hyung please hurry!" Taemin cried, he did as he was told and crept silently to the front door. He pressed his back against the door and looked around for Naeun. He all but screamed when he saw her walk out of the bathroom. He slapped his hand over his mouth to cover it, he didn't want to make any sound.
"Taemin are you okay?" Jinki asked through the phone, Taemin didn't speak, he couldn't.
"Taemin answer me. Are you okay?" Jinki asked and Taemin decided he would risk it.
"Hyung she is walking around, I don't want her to hear me." he said and Jinki sighed in dismay.
"I'm at the door, open it." Jinki said and he heard someone talking in the background. Taemin looked at Naeun in horror as he saw what she had done to her face. She had deep red gashes all over her face and her left eye was missing.
"Oh my god..." Taemin said and turned to open the door, and Naeun growled at Taemin. She started walking towards him and Taemin shrieked, he opened the door quickly and ran straight into Jinki.
"Tae..." Jinki said and then gasped when he saw Naeun.
Taemin saw that Kibum was with Jinki and ran into his hyung's arms.
"Oh my god...Jinki, look at her." Kibum said and pointed at the girl slowly walking towards them.
"I will take care of it you two stay here, Kibum take care of his arm." Jinki said and walked into the apartment and shut the door behind him. Taemin heard a lot of banging and clatter from inside the apartment, he looked up at Kibum and then his vision went black.
