TW: Very slight swearing and very slight mentions of death
Katerína's POV
We were walking back to where the tent is supposed to be. The sun has risen, meaning it wasn't dark anymore. "Hermione." Harry called out as we were closer to the destination. "Hermione." Harry called out again. "Is everything alright?" The frizzy haired brunette asked, walking out of the tent. I smiled at the sight, happy I got the chance to lay eyes on her again.
"It's fine. Actually, you know, it's more than fine." The raven haired boy responded to her question. He pointed towards us as Hermione ran up this tiny hill to be up at our level.
Her speed slowed, taking sight of the both of us. "Hey." Ron greeted her, a derpy smile plastered on his face. I just stayed silent, not sure what to say.
Hermione stood where she was for a moment, processing the fact that we were here. Then, she sped towards us. Well, more specifically, the redhead next to me, and grabbed his bag, throwing it to the ground.
"You. Completely. *rse! Ronald Weasley!" Hermione shouted, throwing a handful of leaves to him. She then grabbed his bag, hitting him with it. "You show up here after weeks! And you say hey?"
She was about to hit him again, but Ron was quick to react, running behind me. That's when the Granger noticed me. "You! Don't even get me started with you!" Hermione then yelled out, glaring straight through my skull.
She threw a handful of leaves towards me too, but I dodged it, leading to it hitting Ron's face. I laughed, but that quickly stopped when I saw the brunette marching towards me.
She raised her hands, but I was quick to grab them, the fear evident on my face. "You leave, with the boy you claim to hate, for weeks! How could you leave me like that?" I felt a hint of sadness in her eyes as I felt guilt rush through my veins. That sadness quickly left as anger masked her face again. She yanked her hands away from mine, rushing to Harry.
"Where's my wand Harry? Where's my wand!?" Hermione asked. Harry backed up from her, fear painted on his face. The fact that the raven haired boy has escaped death so many times, and yet is still scared of angry Hermione is just hilarious.
"I don't know." Harry uttered out, his back against a tree. "Harry Potter, you give me my wand!" The girl ordered. "I don't have it."
"How come he's got your wand?" The redhead asked, his eyebrows knitted together. "Never mind how he's got my wand." The brunette spat out, walking closer to us. "What is that?" She then asked, looking at the broken locket held in my right hand. I held it up, giving her a clearer look. I saw a small smirk spread onto the redhead's face.
"You destroyed it." Hermione said in disbelief, looking towards me. "Oh... uhm, he did." I corrected her, pointing towards Ron. "And how is it that you just happen to have the sword of Gryffindor?"
"It's a long story." Harry breathed out, a hint of shakiness in his voice, still quite scared of Hermione lashing out. It was silent for a moment before Hermione started shaking her head. "Don't think this changes anything."
She started to walk away before Ron spoke up, saying, "Oh, of course not. I only just destroyed a bloody horcrux. Why would that change anything?"
"Look, we both wanted to come back as soon as we left. We just didn't know how to find you guys." I explained, trying to defend the redhead. "Yeah, how did you find us?" The boy with round glasses quizzed.
"With this." Ron grabbed the lighter-looking thing out of his pocket. "It doesn't just turn off lights. I don't know how it works, but on Christmas morning we were sitting in this little pub, keeping away from some snatchers, and I heard it."
"It?" The raven haired boy asked. "A voice. Your voice, Hermione. Coming out of it." Hermione glanced at me, as if asking if what Ron was saying was true. I nodded.
She crossed her arms in front of her chest, looking back at the blue eyed boy. "And what exactly did I say, may I ask?" Hermione questioned sassily.
"My name. Just my name. Like a whisper. So I took it, clicked it, and this tiny ball of light appeared. And I knew sure enough, it floated towards me, the ball of light. And right to my chest, straight through me. Right here."
Ron pointed to the area next to his heart, a look of hope on his face. "And I knew it was going to take me where I needed to go. So we disapperated, and came to this hillside. It was dark. I had no idea where I was. I just hope one of you would show yourself. And you did."
Ron took a deep breath, silence falling upon us again. "Are we just gonna stand here or..." I started saying, looking at everyone staring at each other. "Yeah, it's pretty cold, let's get inside." Harry then said, walking towards the tent.
