"Hinata, my  family wanted to know if you would like to come over for a little?" Sasuke asked giving her a bento.

"For what" she replied monotonously.

"My mother wants to see you"

She nodded then followed the Uchiha to his place.

Ever since the incident Itachi follows her just to make sure she's always safe.

It's his mission now. He doesn't mind it either.

Naruto has also found out about the situation. He hasn't told anyone. He deserved to know since she is is teammate. He's been everything but mean to her. She don't try to hug her no more. He respects it all.

When they have arrived at the Uchiha district they seen Mikoto with a table full of food.

Fugaku was working and Itachi walked in a few minutes after them.

"You feel better Hyuga-san?" Mikoto hugged her.

Hinata gave her a small nod.

"Sasuke tells me a lot about you, you know?"

Hinata looked at Sasuke, he was covering his face.

"M-Mother!" Sasuke stood up.

"Whaaaaaat. I'm only telling the truth Sasu"

"Mother do you need me to take father his food?" Itachi asked.

"Hmmm, yes. Bring Sasu while you're at it. I'm going to talk to Hinata-san here" Mikoto gage Sasuke and Itachi hugs before they left.

"Okay"

"Tell your father I miss him for me!"

Sasuke nodded and they both walked out.

"Hinata-san, I know that you're still hurting from that night. As a parent I would love to try and get your mind off of it. Would you like to go grocery shopping with me?"

"Sure"

When they got to a market Hinata kept looking at the cinnamon rolls.

"You want some?" Mikoto asked.

"I got it" Hinata said pulling out some money.

"No, I offered to go shopping. I'll buy"

They made their way to the cinnamon rolls.

"I will take a dozen please"

"There you go. Have a nice day young lady's!"

"Thank you" Mikoto bowed to the worker.

They sat down for a little and started eating the rolls. Hinata smiled a little, she felt like she was with her mom.

"Thank you" Hinata smiled to her.

"Of course Hinata-san, i'd do anything for you and my children"

"You don't have to add 'San'. Anything would be good other than that"

"Okay then Hinata-chaaaan" Mikoto smiled.

"You look like my mom" Hinata accidentally blurred out. She thought she was only thinking it.

"No, you look just like her" Mikoto smiled.

"We're you two friends?"

"No but we were in the academy together. She was really nice and beautiful. Only thing is, she was bullied for her eyes"

"Really?" Hinata asked.

"Mhm. She kicked their butts though" she giggled.

Hinata smiled a little. At least she stood up for herself.

"I've never seen her when she was my age. What did she look like?"

"You look a lot like her, only you have bangs. People said me and her could pass for sisters as well. Our hair was the same back then. Hers was more purple in color, mine is more blue" she smiled thinking about it all.

"She never had bangs?" Hinata asked her.

"Nope" she shook her head.

Mikoto hugged Hinata. She didn't like people touching her but she really felt like her own mother.

She couldn't help but feel safe with her.

"Thank you for being nice to me and not making fun of me" Hinata looked down.

"Why would i ever make fun of you. You're an amazing person Hinata-chan. You're like my own child"

"The incident a while ago. I'm surprised everyone don't know about it"

"Well my son was the one that found you, he wouldn't ever say anything bad about you to other people, he wouldn't ever tell anyone about that actually. Only him, Kakashi, and Hokage-sama know about it. They wouldn't tell anyone"

"Yeah, it's embarrassing. But i deserved it..." Hinata finished eating her cinnamon roll.

"No it's not. What happened was awful! You didn't deserve it at all!" Mikoto scolded her.

"It hurt so bad. It still hurts me" Hinata sighed.

"I know sweetie. It's okay. Let's go get some groceries okay?"

Hinata nodded.

While they were out Itachi and Sasuke came home.

"Obito, what are you doing here?"

"Im waiting for you guys to get back. I need to talk to you guys about something. Orochimaru has been spotted by the Land of Fire"

"What?" Itachi gasped.

"Yeah. Who knows what he's doing here"

"Orochimaru?" Sasuke questioned.

"Ah, he's a traitor of the Leaf Village. He's actually in the bingo book, he's super strong" Obito sighed.

"Not stronger than Uchiha's though" ltachi smiled.

-The next day-

"Hinata-chaaaaaan" Naruto grinned passing her a bowl of ramen.

"I'm not hungry"

"I don't care. Eat. You need food" he smiled at her.

Naruto had a crush on her since they started being a team. The longer they're together his emotions for her grow.

"Fine" Hinata accepted the ramen.

"Hehehe"

"Thank you" Hinata took a bite.

"N-No problem" Naruto blushed.

"Dobe, Hinata, we have a mission" Sasuke yawned.

"What is it today?" Hinata looked up.

"Well, it's not necessarily a mission but Kakashi wants us to train. He called it a mission for us" he shrugged.

"Alright then!" Naruto grinned.

That day they trained till night.

The chunin exams were three days again too.

"Hinataaaaaa, I got us food" Miko yelled.

She went to the couch to sit down and seen Hinata sleeping on it.

Training huh?

Miko smiled and made them food, then woke up Hinata so she could eat.

Hinata hasn't been this happy in a long time, she was really glad she had a fun day with her friends.
