Chapter Twenty-Six
"Let's settle a few rules," I sighed, tapping a pen on the palm of my hand. "One: You will only answer when called on. Two: Only one answer per question. Any questions?"
Louis' hand shot up. Nodding, he began his question. "So, Autumn, does this mean were dating?"
Autumn's head shot up from her book. She shifted her body uneasily as she nodded her head. "Yeah...it does."
Louis smiled to himself smugly as he and Liam high-fived. Rolling my eyes, I began to talk again. "Now, neither I or Autumn will be judging. We have brought in a very special guest for that job. Everyone, please welcome, Miss McKayla Maroney!"
There were a few applauds as the small brown door opened. McKayla stepped through, her black heels clicking off the floor. She took off her denim jacket and tossed it on the floor, taking a seat next to Autumn. "Now, I have quite a bit of knowledge on the perfect boyfriend. I've read a lot of books."
"Exactly. Now, we have come up with a series of questions. You will answer each question with your opinion. Whichever is the right opinion, that person will get the point. Whoever has the most points in the end, wins. Kapesh?"
"Well if it's our opinion, then how do you know which one is right?" Louis asked, tilting his head slightly to the left, raising an eyebrow.
"Whichever answer we agree with the most wins!" McKayla explained, a bit louder than normal. "Kapesh?"
"Kapesh." Louis and Liam nodded in agreement. I nodded my head towards McKayla giving her the floor.
"Alright. Lets get this show on the road," McKayla sighed, pulling herself up off the red sofa. She flipped a piece of hair off her shoulder and reached for the cards in my hand. "First question; Ha, this is a good one! Team Edward or Jacob?"
"Easy," Liam started, "Edward. He only wants what is best for Bella. Plus, he is more of a gentlemen than me."
I rolled my eyes as I rested my head on the back of the couch. It's never Edward. Always Jacob. No one wants a old fashioned gentlemen. Every girl wants a rock hard, muscular guy with a six pack.
"Eh! Wrong. It's always Jacob. Always." Liam leaned back in defeat, running a hand through his hair. "Point Louis!"
"What? He didn't even answer the question!"
"Do I look like I care? No, I don't." McKayla retorted, shuffling through the cards. "Next question; Peeta or Gale?" She looked over the cards a few more times before looking over to Autumn and me. "Are these all just book related questions?"
I turned my head to Autumn and glared. "Did you seriously write the questions like that?" Autumn peered up from her book and smiled..
"You got a problem with that?" she asked, tapping her foot against the hard wood floor.
"No, just- nevermind," I sighed. I really didn't want to argue with her now. Not here.
"Clearly, Peeta! I mean who would pass up some hot buns like him?" Louis answered as if it were obvious. We sat there in an akward silence. A little shocked at Louis', interesting answer. Of course, he was right. Gale was too hot headed. Peeta was loving and caring, like Liam!
