Part 4: A new killing game...?

Before:
They all start to head for dinner and they get to the cafeteria and...
Now:
They see a large TV screen in the cafeteria. It's playing and they see Naegi and Kyoko standing there talking. They start to listen in.
"It has come to our attention that a new killing game will be starting very soon. We will try to save them as soon as possible, as we cannot risk anymore people dying from that sick bear. We will try our best to stop Monokuma and Junko Enoshima's legacy."
The students stood there. They were horrified.

Kaede's POV:
'Another killing game...?' I thought. I stood there, paralyzed with fear. I started to think back about how I was almost executed and tears started to form in my eyes. I started to sob as all the others then turned to look.

Shuichi's POV:
Kaede started crying and I turned to look at her as the others did also. I go up to her and hug her. "Kaede..? What's wrong...?" She looked up at me, and she had despair in her eyes. I then told her, "Kaede, it's alright.. We won't live in fear much longer because of these kind people.... Wanna go back to the room so you can rest..?" She nodded her head softly as I carried her back to the room. I messaged Kaito.

On Shuichi's phone:
Kaito's name: The boss
Sidekick: Hey Kaito, could you bring me and Kaede some food, please?
The boss: Sure, sidekick. Me and Maki will bring it once we finish up.
Sidekick: Thanks, Kaito.

I looked up at Kaede and she was staring at me, with a certain look in her eyes. I couldn't determine what it was, but it looked loving. She then looked away, blushing a little. "Kaede.." I said. "What happened in the cafeteria..?"

Kaede's POV:
"What happened in the cafeteria..?" Shuichi asked. I started to tear up and cry as I told him why I had started to cry. He walked over to me and hugged me. "Kaede, I'd never let that happen to you, ever. Not again. I will protect you at all costs." I felt bright red as he was saying that. I looked up and saw he started becoming red at what he just said. "A-ah.. I-I-I meant that as we're f-f-friends and we'd a-always be there for e-each other.." he said as he pulled his cap over his eyes.

Kaito's POV:
Shuichi had asked me to bring him and Kaede some food. I asked Maki to help me and she argued at first but then she finally agreed. We grabbed their trays of food and started walking to their room. "So.. Maki-Roll?" I asked. "Hm?" she replied annoyed. I ask, "Why'd you say you're actually the child caregiver?" "Do you wanna die?" she replied hesitantly. "Maki-Roll, you can trust me." I said while looking at her. She sighed and then looked at me hesitantly. "Well... I only lied because I didn't want everyone to avoid me thinking I'm just a psycho assassin. But that damn brat revealed it to you before I felt like telling you all the truth." I was about to speak but we arrived at their room. Maki opened the door and what we thought we saw was surprising but also not at the same time.

Maki's POV:
I opened Kaede and Shuichi's room door and I saw them.. making out...? "What the hell?" I blurted out. They both looked at me while blushing profusely. "I-it's not what y-you think! We were h-hugging!" Shuichi had said quickly. Kaede then agreed with him, "Y-yeah! We w-were just h-h-hugging!!" I looked at Kaito then back at them. "Mmmhhhmmmmm..." I answer slowly. Me and Kaito set the trays down and walked out.

Shuichi's POV:
"I can't believe they thought we were doing something else.." Kaede says while still blushing. I responded, "Y-yeah.." I looked at her in the eyes and I really wanted to tell her.. I wanted to tell her how much I loved her. I had an urge to just kiss her. But I don't think she'd ever like someone like me. "H-hellooo??" she waving her hand in front of my face. I snap out of my trance and look at her. "A-ah! S-s-sorry!" I reply rather quickly. Kaede is about to say something when Miu bursts through the door. "Hey fucking dorks! So, I've already invited everyone else, but that's besides the point, but we're playing truth or dare and you're coming!" "Miu, why would we-" Kaede starts to say something but she gets cut off. "You're playing god damn it! Now get your asses in the game room. We're also doing spin the bottle at some point."
Miu then took us to the game room where we see some people, which are..

And there we go! Sorry I always end on cliffhangers, but it helps me for the next part! This weekend, I will not be available, I will be with my Aunt and her wife for the weekend.
