I did not mean to spy on them, i was already on the roof when they came having a smoke, i was close to the edge sitting there in the dark, the light was not on me.

They did not see me, i was sure that Thea would've felt me but she didn't or she did and she hid it well.

But they still treated her differently, i also thought they'd never do that. I mean they were the ones who stood by me when the family treated me differently and were against it, and then they go and do it.

I finish my 5th cigarette and get down from the edge and start walking to the roof door to go down, i went to the second floor to the kitchen to get water.

I went inside and i saw nonno making a sandwich.

Nonno, how couldn't i think that he is the one who will help in this situation.

He looked up from the counter as i enter "hey Teo" he smiled "hey nonno" i smiled back.

"You wanna say something" he said as he continued doing the sandwich, i sign in defeat he always knows when i want to say something.

Me and nonno are really close, we always talk with each other, he was the first to know about my agent, he was there at the opening he helped in a lot.

"The family they are...are" i stop myself i don't know why.

He now has his attention on me "they are what Teo, did they do something, say anything to you" he asked with seriousness and slight anger "no no not the cousins and they didn't do anything to me, or say anything" i said quickly "then who" he asked impatiently.

"Thea" i mumbled hoping to not be heard, but clearly was in the silence "what" his voice boomed with anger all over his face.

"calm down nonno i will tell you, they just started treating her differently since they knew the truth" i said as surprise passed his face, as now he knew i was talking about dad, mom and my brothers.

"What?, tell me everything now" he said as i explained to him, how i was on the roof and heard Thea talking to Antonio, and crying about what happened.

"They made her fucking cry?" He furiously asked and i nodded slowly, he left the kitchen and before i followed him out i took the sandwich on the counter and then i got out of the kitchen after him he looked behind him at me and saw the sandwich in my mouth and shook his head.

"What it looked delicious" i said with a hand over my mouth "just come one" he said and we went to everyone of their rooms and knocked and told them to meet in the garden in 10.

Now we were all in the garden sitting around the couch, and the pool before us.

"Did something happen nonno" Luciano asked "uhmm something did happen" he replied coldly.

Ohh this is gonna be a good show, if i can record this right now why did i have to leave my phone on my bed.

"What happened" Dad asked seriously "what happened is that y'all hurt Thea" nonno said "what?" Nonna asked "yes" he said as he went on and explained.

"I never thought you'd do something like this" he said disappointed "we did not i swear" dad said "yes we didn't mean to" Luciano said "wether you did or not she thinks you did" Lucas said then we heard someone clearing their throat as we looked at the direction it came from.

It was Vincente "sorry for interruption, but since your here you'll have to attend the ball, it's tomorrow be ready by 5 pm" he finished "ball what ball?" Nonno asked "a one you were never invited to, but you are this year only" he said emphasizing on 'only'.
