   Superman's POV

"I just wanted to tell you that I peeked under the mask and I apologize, I let the curiosity get to me." I say genuinely.

Batman starts glancing around for some reason, like he's searching for something..Or someone.

I then use my x-ray vision to look around. But there is no one in sight. "Are you looking for someone Bruce-" I hesitated saying his real name out loud.

"Did you notice anything strange?" Batman says as he looks at me attentively. Like he's desperate for an answer.

I respond back "No, no one else is here, who are you looking for?"

Batman retorts  "No one"

Batman's POV

That's weird if she was here Superman would have been able to detect her. But why does it feel like she's watching us? I then ask "so why are you still here?" "Leave if you have no further words."

"You have a wrist injury, a sprain and torn ligaments in your leg." Superman reports

"And?" "Alfred will take care of it." "Now leave please." I say with a calmer tone.

Superman POV

I then exit his manor with confounding feelings. I admire Batman with his diligence for protecting Gotham. I see him as a really good friend and I just want to protect him. But he always gets himself hurt. I wish he would just put himself first for once.

Regardless I'm glad he doesn't mind me knowing who he is, maybe he'll trust me a bit more. I wish he would tell me these things though, but he will be how he always is.

I do wonder why he was so relentless in his own manor? If someone was there I would have been able to expose them. It's probably nothing I should get back and report to the justice league.

D's POV

My lord, that was the most long, dry ass conversation. But that is what my brucey is known for and we support. Also Batman and his instincts are crazy. I just masked myself completely to not be able to be detected. But somehow he still knew I was around.
While I'm here I want to see this world. I haven't been out in forever. I want to eat different types of food and see different things. I want to do so muchhhh...

I then get abruptly interrupted in my thoughts as Batman says "I know you're here, come out." I knew it was coming but still, erg.

"Yep! I'm here." I say as I slowly unmask myself out of the shadows.

"Explain." He says in a stern tone.

"Like I said, I can literally do anything I want here." "I wouldn't do any harm of course, though." "I'll be like the robin to your Batman." He just looks at me with a really bitch face.

"Look, honestly you're just going to have to trust me on this since you literally cannot capture me."

Brucey then just sighs in and out, twice. Then takes his mask off.

I then just stare at his handsome face.

"Wow I could really just die happily." I blurt out.

Batman's POV

I need to find out more about this kid's abilities and this world "Staranna." Should I ask Superman if he has any clues? No, I can't bring anyone into this. I need to ask her more questions.

"Hey Bruce I can tell you're struggling a little, I would be too." "But quick question: how's your love life?" I hear her say out of nowhere.

"There are more pressing questions at hand, so how is this remotely more important?" I say with a low growl.

D's pov

Maybe I should keep it to myself that when Superman came in, Batman's red thread was without a doubt connected to him.
