Falling Angles

Chapter 3

              POV: Megan

*In my dream*"Megan, you're just a worthless person." You serve no purpose in life.*Hot tears streamed down my cheeks* I hated myself so much and they would never care."GET UP" my dad was kicking me and punching me.*End of dream* I wake up with a swift motion. I'm hot, very hot. My breath hunched and I'm breathing fastly. I think of times when my family was good to me and it calmed me down. I walk to my shower and hop in to make sure it was a cold shower. I spend 10 minutes in the shower. I got out and got ready with waterproof mascara and picked out a sporty top and a pair of nike pros, walking to my kitchen for an apple, then before you know it I'm running out the door to my favorite gym. It's only a mile away so I ran there. Walk in knowing that everyone is staring at me. I work out for about 1 hour or so, but now it's 6am and I need some stuff from the shops. I run downtown which isn't far from there. There, a girl bumps into me. She looks scared and in fear.I say," Hey are you okay?" she looks at me with distress."No I'm not o-okay with my boyfriend's after me!" She had tears running down her face."Wait, why?" I asked. "Because I escaped." I think Lord, what am I dealing with? Oh God,I hope you make magic happen. "Okay, well I'll help ya out. She looks at me with a bit of fear and says,"Thank you."We start making our way to my apartment.I say, "This is my apartment you can stay here as long as you like! "Thank you-"It's Megan. Megan Litman." "Thank you Megan." "You're welcome- "It's Willow." "Your welcome Willow!"

POV : Willow 

I'm running. Sweat running down my face. *Gun shot* I fall to the ground, but that didn't stop me. I kept on running and I finally ran through a few poison ivy bushes when my shirt that I took from one of his hookers got stuck on a bush. At this point I didn't care about getting poison ivy. I grabbed the shirt, ripped it and kept going. I finally found some small shops when I saw a girl about my height a few inches shorter than me walking around. It looked like she just ran a marathon because she was pouring sweat, but I didn't care and ran up to her."Hey are You okay?" "No I'm not. My boyfriend is after me!" I was panting so hard it sounded like I was dying. Tears were running down my face. "Wait, why?" She says with confusion. I tell her I escaped with my eyes full of tears. "Okay, well I'll try to help you!" she says in a reassuring voice. "Thank you!" I told her. I'm walking with the girl that just saved my life and I don't even know her name, but at this point I don't even care. "This is my apartment. You can stay here as long as you need!" she told me while she was dropping her gym bag in her room. "Th-an-nk y-ou..."It's Megan, Megan Litman." she says. "Thank you, Megan." I say with a smile. I think to myself I just smiled for the first time in three years! "Your welcome- "Willow." I say

"You're welcome, Willow!" she grins.
