Mr. Lan who has seen the condition of his favorite GLADIOLUS was beyond angry but when he heard his boy's explanation felt his anger rising as he never expected that the boy will be so careless because everyone knows that bunnies can harm their gardens and one should keep the bunnies out of the house plants so he in his fiery voice spoke,

Yibo and Zhan when heard the voice flinched a little as from the voice they realized that they both are in trouble so to calm Mr. Lan both of them tries to speak but Mr. Lan just glares at them as he speaks, " you both are going to get punished for such carelessness!"
The boys when heard the elder speak, "but-" but Mr. Lan cut them in the middle as he spoke, "no buts!" And then in a stern voice continued,
"YOU BOTH ATE GROUNDED FOR 24 HRS!"
Yibo when heard this was shocked as he never expected that his dad will punish him like this as how can Mr. Lan ground him when he has to go to the office tomorrow and have some important meetings to attend so he spoke,
"Dad we are sorry, please don't punish us!"
Mr. Lan on hearing this in a stern voice spoke, "no sorry, damage once done is done Yibo!"
Yibo when heard his father lowered his head as he knows that his father is not saying the wrong thing because he has been always taught by Mr. Lan that every step of your life should be taken with caution because once the damage is done or the wrong step is taken nothing can be turned back to its original state. Yibo who has always followed this rule today due to his all attention toward the building of the bunny house but since he has one important meeting tomorrow he just wants their punishment to get of less time so he spoke, "but dad I have a meeting tomorrow, please can it be just for today?"

Zhan who heard Mr. Lan wanted to apologize before having his punishment but seeing the expression of his father-in-law he just managed to nod his head and Mr. Lan seeing this spoke, "now you may both leave!"
