This is a slow smut. So it will take a bit but I'll get there and there is not much. If you haven't watched the anime you won't understand it so skip ahead. Btw this is canon! Mika confess's his love Yu later on in the manga! So it is a ship!!

(Summary in the beginning of the anime):

Yu escaped sanguinem four years ago and is now in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. Yu and his group, Shinoa, Mitsuba, Yoichi, and Shiho are all family to each other. Yu lost his family in sanguinem by Ferid a vampire who got blood from mika for things like food and items. Mika thought it would help their family that they had but Yu didn't like it of course. But now Yu was the only one who escaped and now he wants to kill every vampire he sees which makes sense after seeing his very first family get killed by them. Yu knows later on knows that mika is alive and is a vampire but still thinks of him as family.

Later on...

Yu: "I can't believe he is alive-.. after all this time he is actually alive." He starts to tear up.

Shinoa: "Who is he Yu?? He is a vampire. How do you know him exactly?"

Yu: "he's my friend. When I was sanguinem. I thought my whole family there died. But he's alive! I have to save him!"

Shinoa looked upset and confused. She knew how much family meant to him so when it comes to saving another family member of Yu's, she will help as much as she can. They had a mission soon so they had to drop their conversation and go pair up with the others in Shinjuku.

When they got there they didn't have any vamps there because they gave them the wrong location but just told them to stay in Shinjuku for backup just in case. Yu just sighed.

Shinoa: "I can't believe they messed up the freaking location!! How do they even do that!?"

Yoichi: "hey Shinoa calm down. It's not too bad. At least we have a short break."

Shinoa: "ahem. Yeah- you're right. Sorry" she laughs it off a little. "Yu?..... Yu!?"

At some point Yu walked off on his own and ended up in an abandoned store or gas station, hard to tell. He just wanted some space. Take a breather, ya' know. He ended up staying there for 30 minutes before he decided to take a nap.

An hour later Shinoa, Yoichi, Shiho, and Mitsuba start to worry. They looked around for him for 15 minutes before they finally found him in the store behind the destroyed counter.

Mitsuba: "GUYS I FOUND HIM!!"

They all rushed over to check if he was ok. Of course he was so Yu woke up after hearing chatter. He got up and saw that he had been moved over back to where they were before.

Yu: "oh. Sorry guys I must have fallen asleep."

They all laughed at him because he had done this before. They stayed in Shinjuku for four hours before vampires showed up. They all jumped when they noticed there were only three.. wait is that-?

Yu: "MIKA!?" He smiled seeing him again. He thought it would have been longer than that.

Mika: "Yu?" He looked back at the other vampires and grabbed his sword and sliced them. "Hey! It isn't safe here! Yu. Come with me, I can save you from the humans!"
