The guys had a plan — to surprise Lisa right after her debut stage today. BLACKPINK just debuted, and the industry went haywire. BLACKPINK immediately became a trending topic, being number one in multiple search engines, and fastly climbing up in music platforms.

Their success was phenomenal.

Bambam thought of getting Lisa some of her favourite takeout meals. The boys also thought to do the same.

There they were, in the hallway of SBS' Inkigayo. Since the staff there have signed contracts for their silence in these aspects, they didn't fear that this would turn into a rumour of some sort.

They were there in the waiting room just beside BLACKPINK's dressing room. There was a monitor there to view the girls' live performance. Once the emcees introduced BLACKPINK, the boys fell silent, and paid attention to the television.

“BLACKPINK in your area . . .” They overheard Jennie start. “BLACKPINK in your area . . .”

There, it was Lisa's turn. “Been a bad girl, I know I am. And I'm so hot, I need a fan. I don't wanna boy, I need a man . . .”

“That's my bestfriend!” Bambam stood up from his seat while applauding, with Eunwoo subtly pulling his shirt to calm him and make him sit back down. “Look at her go!” Bambam grinned, pointing at the screen whilst looking at the boys.

Jungkook chuckled by Bambam's reaction. He continued to watch the girls' live performance.

Hold it in. Lisa thought. God, hold it in. She tried her best not to cry once they got off the stage. So far, so good. Her makeup will be ruined if she cries.

Just as she was doing a good job holding her tears in, as soon as they entered their dressing room, Chaeyoung bursted into tears.

“Yah, Chaeyoung-ah!” Lisa bit her bottom lip, lightly hitting Chaeyoung on the shoulder. “Don't do that!” Lisa gulped. Chaeyoung turned towards Lisa and hugged her real tight.

“We did it! We finally made our debut!” Chaeyoung cried, hugging Lisa tighter.

Lisa couldn't hold it in any longer. Tears started streaming down her cheeks. Jennie joined the hug, pulling Jisoo to join them. Just then, the three girls started crying their eyes out.

They did it. They're finally here. No backing out now.

“We did it . . .” Chaeyoung muttered over and over again.

They all couldn't believe it. They were actually here now. After the endless nights of practicing, the constant breakdowns, and the homesickness. Here they are.

Their staff rushed towards them, congratulating them. They handed the girls individual bouquets. Later, this week's winner will be announced for the Inkigayo Stage. The girls really didn't expect much. After all, they just debuted. How can a bunch of rookies snatch an award for about two weeks prior to their debut?

“Girls, you have guests waiting for you,” their manager approached them.

Ah, their families. Lisa thought, turning her head towards the girls who seemed excited to see them.

“You can come with me,” Jisoo told Lisa with a smile. Lisa couldn't help but gawk seeing how Jisoo didn't shed a single tear. Thus, her makeup was still perfectly fine.
