Best Friend or boyfriend?

Chapter 2

We jammed to Miley Cyrus the whole way to school. Somehow that managed to calm my nerves. We stopped at the gas station to grab something to drink, Emily got a water, because she is all healthy and stuff, and I got a dr. Pepper, because I am not healthy. "I got it" Emily said handing the cashier the money. This reminded me of the quote I read on Instagram one time, "Friends that buy your food are good friends, keep those friends." I laughed silently. "Thanks" I said. We hoped back in the car and drove off. Buy the time we got to school, we had about 30 minutes until class started, so we decided to go meet up with some of our other friends. We went into the cafeteria to see so many teenagers. Too many teenagers. I look threw the crowd searching for my other friends, juli, running up to me. "Where's everyone else?" I ask her. "They are all outside in the courtyard." she exclaimed. The courtyard? Our school doesn't have a court yard? "What courtyard?" I asked. She just smiled and said "come with me!" Me and Emily follow her as she opens the door to a beautiful courtyard that has lots of trees and tables to eat lunch at. "Wow it's so cool!" Said Emily. I look around to try and find all my other friends, and I automatically spot Maryn, Riley, and grace. "Hey guys!" I said trying to push through the crowd. "hey!" Said Maryn. "Have you seen jake yet?" Grace said. Chills ran down my spine as soon as I heard that name, and I feel sick. Grace looked like there was more than just asking if I've seen him. "No, why?" I say trying to hold back my tears, "H-He" she said, this must be hard for her to tell me, I don't think I want to know, but I have to know! "Spit it out!" I screech. "He's with someone else." Oh god "but that's not all," oh no there's more? I think I'm gonna be sick. "He's with crystal"

My heart got heavy

I couldn't breath

The tears came in like a waterfall

I couldn't stop myself

I started running
