"Hey... hey, you okay?" Will took Callie by the shoulders as she doubled over in pain.

"I-I'm fine. Just a cramp." She assured.

"Are you sure? That didn't look like a cramp to me." He insisted.

"Halstead, Matthews!" Maggie called. "Room two."

"Got it." Dr. Halstead picked up his iPad. "Okay, Joey Mclain, three years old, complaints of headaches."

They entered the room to be greeted by the young boy's mother.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Mclain. I'm Dr. Halstead and this is Nurse Sexton and Student Dr. Matthews." Will introduced.

"Youngest med student in the states..." The mother smiled. "I saw it on the news." Callie just blushed.

"Okay, Joey, I heard you have a bit of a headache, huh?" She smiled sadly.

"Temp 101," April mentioned.

"Has there been any other complaints? Stomach ache, nausea?" Callie checked with the mother.

"No but it hurts when he swallows. Won't eat or drink anything." She explained.

"Okay, buddy I'm just gonna take a little peek." She assured in a friendly tone as she used her equipment to check in his ears and nose.

"How long has he been getting these headaches?" Dr Halstead wondered.

"Uh- about a week but it's been getting worse." She clarified.

"Any allergies we should know about?"

"None that I know of."

"Looks like it could just be a sinus infection. But he does look a little dehydrated. So let's get some IV fluids and 5ml of acetaminophen." Callie suggested, gently rubbing her stomach to ease the searing pain.

"Perfect."

"Wait, what's that?" The mother worried.

"It's a hospital grade tylenol." Callie explained. "Hopefully it will help bring his fever down and ease his headache. The fluids are just to keep him hydrated. We'll get that sorted for you and be back to check on Joey in a little bit."

"Thank you."

They made their way out of the room and headed towards the center desk.

"Mmph!" Callie grunted as she clutched her stomach.

"Callie?" Will worried, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Something is clearly wrong, will you please let me examine you?"

"No I'm fine..." She insisted as she flinched at his touch and attempted to push him away. "I just- AH!" She shrieked as she dropped to her knees in agony.

"Okay, you are clearly not fine." He scowled as he crouched beside her. "April!" He called. Nurse Sexton raced over to help him lift her from the ground.

"Will, wait!" April warned as she lowered Callie back down. Her hands still clutching her stomach. The nurse glanced down to see a small puddle forming beneath her. "She's bleeding."

"Okay we need to get her into a room." Will explained as they lifted her from the floor and helped her to the nearest room. "Callie, will you please let me examine you?" She nodded. "April, page Natalie."

"No!" Callie shrieked. "Don't tell her."

"Cal, she's your legal guardian she has to know."

"I'm medically emancipated. Don't tell her. Please." She pleaded. "Not yet."

"Okay, let's just get you into a gown and we'll go from there." He suggested.

April helped Callie clean up and get into a hospital before settling back on the bed. Will came in to examine her.

"Okay, April, let's get vitals, a temp, CBC, CMP, UA with C and S." Will ordered.

April noticed as the young girl pressed her lips together firmly.

"Callie? Are you okay?" She checked.

Callie shook her head. The brunette sat up and threw her hand over her mouth. April raced to her side with a dish as she emptied out her lunch into the bowl.

"Okay, let's add an MAG, HCG, and let's get a CT and ultrasound." Will mentioned to April, who nodded in agreement.

"Hey, Will. Just got labs results for Callie. Is she okay?" Maggie worried as she handed him the iPad. He glanced at it for a moment to long, only increasing concern. "Will?"

"Call PD. Get them here now!"

"On it."

Will stormed through the E.D to Callie's room.

"You need to tell me what happened when you went missing." He ordered.

"What?"

"Your lab results came back." He explained, dropping the iPad in her lap. "Your HCG is elevated." Callie glanced at the tablet and froze. "It means you're-"

"I know what it means."
