Ugh... luggage.. So much luggage. new house. New friends, new life. I moved to LA California because my dad found work there but I had to leave my friends and some of my family. It was hard.. Very hard.
"Mom.. Dad? I'll be out for a walk.. To explore the neighbourhood." I said throwing on a hoodie and my turquoise vans. I opened the door and walked out into the hot California air. There was a slight breeze so it got a bit chilly when I started to walk. I texted my best friend Allie and told her that I had made it to LA. Then **BAM** I hit the ground. "Shit." I said under my breath. "God damn it. I'm so sorry!" Said a boy putting out his hand to help me up. "It's fine." I say getting to my feet and brushing myself off. "Hi." Says a brown haired boy who looked very nervous. "Hey." I smiled. "I'm Cameron, but my friends call me Cam." He says. "I'm Samantha.. But you can call me Sam.. I just moved here." I looked up. "Oh well how bout we take a walk around town and I'll show you everything." he smiled. We walked all around the beautiful city for about 4 hours until we stopped at a beach. We sat on a bench near the water and relaxed. We learned a lot about each other and had an amazing time. He walked me home too he was so kind. "This is my place." I said pointing to my house. "Oh wow I'm right next door!" He smiles. "Awesome! Here's my number. text me! Maybe we could hang out sometime." I say running into my house. "Mom I'm home!" I yell. "how was your day sweetie?" Mom said. "perfect." I said laying myself down on the couch and letting out a sigh.
