Grayson never showed up. I sat, fully dressed in a blue flowy top that was open in the back and black leggings that stopped at my calves. I went to bed at around 2:00am after I had a few glasses of wine.
My alarm clock buzzed loudly. I sat upright and then remembered it was my first day of my new job as a school secretary. I rushed to my walk in closet and picked out a pair of long black leggings and a white tank top with a grey cardigan. I ran to the bathroom and did my routine then got black flats on, grabbed my purse and I was off. I turned on the engine of my car and drove away from my apartment. 43 school drive. I thought as I pulled into the large parking lot of SSMS (Scott Smarts Middle School) I parked my car and hopped out and walked into the automatic door. "you must be Ms.Durmen!" an old lady exclaims as I walk in. "Yes! Hello! You can call me Sam or Samantha, whichever you prefer." I shook her hand and got to work. It was almost the end of the work day and it was going great until someone walked in who I really didn't want to see. Cameron. He was sitting in the lobby and it looked like he was waiting for someone. "Thank you Sam, see you tomorrow!" I waved and rushed out of the office I kept my head up and tried to walk right past Cameron. He jumped up and grabbed my arm "Sam listen to me." He said. "Cameron. Listen to me very carefully, You. Broke. My. Heart. We are through." I said, then I speed walked to my car, turned the engine on and sped off. I put the key in the door of my apartment and opened it. The smell of air freshener filled my nose as soon as I walked in. I looked around my living room. I only had my iMac in the corner and my phone charger on the floor. I needed furniture so I could have people over meet new guys and have fun for once after Cameron. I called my mom who was also my best friend. I asked her if we could go shopping to look for furniture and decorations for my apartment. I only moved in about 3 months ago. My mom was so happy to hear from me I haven't called in about a month or two. We were off I only dressed in some grey sweats and and Nirvana baggy tshirt, I wasn't out to impress anyone.
