Me: you seriously just let her leave, are you stupid
Marty : oh ny gosh Issie, stop acting so clueless
Me: what are you on about Marty
Marty: I love you, you idiot, and I have for the twenty years we've been apart
Me: yeah right especially when you were sleeping with her, creating those "lovely" children of yours
Marty: what was I supposed to do issey just stay in my house and rot away
Me: no of course not I was the only one supposed to rot away right

I say as I walk away from him and up the stairs as I had to stay at his house until the next day

The following day:
I wake up to see flowers right outside of my bedroom door, without noticing I had a smile in my face
I walk down the stairs and I see Marty making a huge breakfast full of variety
Me: all this for us?
Marty: of course I had to make a special breakfast for my favorite girl
Me: wow that was corny
Marty : yeah I know lol
Me: so about last night
Marty: I'm so sorry kate you know I didn't mean to hurt your feelings
Me: yeah I know
Marty : okay so I was think that if you were up for it maybe we could go out for lunch

I could tell that this was important to him so I agreed, he told me to get ready and that they're was something in my bathroom for me to try on, so I ran up the stairs like I was five years old again, it was a beautiful satin red dress.
I put it on and it fits me perfectly, which I was very surprised by because I didn't expect him to guess my size
I walked back down the stairs to see Marty dressed in a tux and ready to go out

Me: wow you were fast getting ready weren't you
Marty: I'm not very patient
He says while laughing
Me: so what do you think
Marty: you want my honest opinion?
Me: completely honest
Marty: it looks amazing on you but I think it would look better on my bedroom floor
