I know you're scared of the unknown (known)
You don't wanna be alone (alone)

In the busy streets of Megapolis, people--and some demons--went about their busy days, be it shopping, selling, or even just walking about.
And yet, if one were to look closer, listen harder, in the depths of an alleyway was the unmistakable sound of muffled crying. And yet none paid mind to it, either explicitly ignoring it, or not baring mind to their surroundings.
However, that seemed to only concern the human populace.
Mreew~
The crying subsided to sniffles. Owlish, bleary grey eyes peeked out from behind knees to stare into the animalistic-amber eyes of the cat.
The creature tilted its head in curiosity and somewhat concern—which was oddly clear, the teen thought. As odd and somewhat weird as the blue cat in front of them. Does it have a Mohawk?
The sniffles grew quieter when the cat placed a gentle paw on their leg.
"H-Hello there." You reached out a hesitant finger and kept it a reasonable distance away, letting out a small huff of a laugh when the feline rubbed its head against the appendage and purred. It was soft.
"You know, if it weren't for your color and your Mohawk, you'd be the most normal thing I've seen today."
The cat mewed in question. The teen giggled. "Today's just a weird day..." you trailed off to read the collar around its neck. "Mo? I say it right?"
Mo meowed.
"I'll take that as a yes. Are you lost like me, little Mo?" You have him more head scratches and earned grateful purrs in return.
"You probably have family looking for you, huh?" At this point the teen had slightly unfurled and was cradling the cat like a baby, the latter fully accepting the coddling. Something shiny caught it's attention. The feline began to paw at the pendent; it was a golden outline of half of a yin-yang symbol, with a lustrous light blue stone as the eye.
"Hey now," you said softly as you tucked the object within your shirt. "That's not exactly a toy to mess—"
"Mo! Where'd you run off too?!"
Thundering footsteps drew nearer to the alley until a towering, bulky figure appeared in the entry. His skin was blue like the cat's, and he sported the same orange Mohawk along with a beard.
"Oh, there you—oh, hello."
Sandy stopped at the sight in front of him: You, huddled farther into a corner against some boxes, cradling his beloved feline like a baby.
The blue demon offered a wave in which he received a hesitant one back.
"I see you've met Mo. Cute guy, ain't he?"
To that, he received a very hesitant nod. "Why is he blue?"
Sandy shrugged. "Dunno really, never asked. Weird how we look alike, huh?"
To that, Mo meowed in agreeable. The feline hopped out of your arms and onto the man's shoulders, to which the two exchanged a sort of high-five. You laughed. You were a bit more relaxed now. If there was one thing you trusted, it was that of an animal's instincts. If an animal trusted a human enough, that meant they were good. And, on top of that, there was something about the blue man you liked. Perhaps it was due to the gentle and calm aura he seemed to radiate.
