The explorer

In front of them stood something they'd never seen before. They didn't know what it was. All they knew is that it was not human. It was kind of similar though.

It had four big bright white wings on its back and four hands, two of which didn't seem to be connected to its body. It was wearing a big lime green cloak that seemed to wrap around almost its entire body, save for the lower parts of the legs and arms. It had blond hair and a blank mask over its face. There were two halos crossing in an 'X' over the mask. It was also wearing a necklace with an eye of ender in it. The creature kind of looked like an angel.

"So? Are you going to answer me or just stare?" It asked, moving towards them.

They immediately stumbled back, dropping their bag in the process. They stared for another second and then snapped out of it. "I was just examining the weird structure." They said and slightly pointed to one of the weird yellow blocks.

The creature paused for a second and looked at where the poor person was pointing. But that seemingly made it even angrier.

"That does not look like examining to me. There's an ender eye in one of the holes. It wasn't like that before now, was it?" It spoke.

"I swear, I was just trying to see if it would fit! I didn't know it would upset you!" They spoke back, now beginning to get frustrated. They genuinely didn't know it would fit. They just wanted to try it.

The angel thingy was silent for a few moments, then spoke again "You didn't know? Do you not know what this is?". This time it didn't sound angry at all. It just seemed confused.

"No! I don't know what it is. I'm sorry I upset you so much by touching it!" They quickly said, as if wanting to prove their innocence.

The thing thought for a moment, then spoke. "Oh... My apologies for being angry at you then. Though, I do feel compelled to ask, why are you here then? Do you even know what this structure is? How did you even find out about it? And who are you?"

The person just sighed in relief. "My name is Y/n and I do not know what this place is. I read about it in a book at home and decided to search for it and explore it, because I was bored."

"Oh, well I can tell you about it if you'd like. I can answer most of your questions about this place."

"Okay, then what is this place?" Y/n asked. They weren't really afraid of it anymore.

"It's called a stronghold. A stronghold is a structure that occurs naturally underground in the Overworld and is the only place where a player can find an end portal. Strongholds can be located by using an eye of ender. They are like labyrinths. They contain one or two libraries and an end portal room." It said.

Oh, well that explained it. Y/n looked at the creature again, only to find it about three feet in front of them and already looking straight at them.

Then it scoffed "I have a name you know, it's rude to refer to someone as a 'creature' too."

Wait how the hell was it able to-

"I can read your thoughts. Also, my name is DreamXD and I am a god. So you can stop calling me 'it'. It is quite rude, isn't it?"

"O-oh, sorry I didn't really know. Wait, you're a god??" They spoke. It's not every day you meet one after all. Sure, they've read about gods, but they were always described as merciless and full of anger, just waiting for something to happen so they can take it out on the people bellow.

"I am indeed, but you need not fear me, as I am not going to harm you. It is quite the opposite. I, as the god of the Overworld and protector of the End am supposed to make sure humans do not kill each other off or get too greedy."
