Shantae the half genie hero: the Friend from another world

Chapter 3

Kai:it's a beautiful morning to go for a run.

As he puts on his new pair of clothes from his bag he grabs a his headphones and puts them on his ear as clicks a button on a small device as a tune starts to play.

Kai:let's start!

He starts jogging through a field as the sun is still rising until after he starts to get tired he sits down and grabs his canister filled with water with frozen ice to keep it cool.

-Stop music-

Kai:nothing beats a nice run in the morning!

???:I don't get how you do this kai!

Kai eyes widen as he turns around to see...

Kai:how...how are you alive!!!

A boy smiles

???:promise me you'll forgive yourself.

The boy then ends up having blood coming off out of his mouth as he smiles with his hand on Kai's shoulder.

Kai:I...

A field with his blades in the ground covered in scratches and dry blood.

Kai:I can't!

???:soon you'll find forgiveness I know it old friend.

He smiles with as his arm fall off Kai's shoulder.

???:we found them!!!

Kai emotions disappears as he gets up and walks towards his blades and pulls them out.

???:shoot!

An arrow cuts his cheek.

???:you missed!

Kai touches his cheek to see blood but it's color wasn't red... it had no color... only a pure white.

Kai:wrong move.

Kai dashes

Kai:ENTERTAIN ME KILLERS!!!

A creepy smile appears on his face.

Kai wakes up as he felt his heart race.

Kai:why now?!

He whispered in anger as he stands up to reveal himself only wearing baggy pants with no top on to reveal his chest having a few scars.

Kai:I can't forgive myself for your death neither let myself forget it...

As he grabs his bag he pull out a new pair of clothes shantae enters as she smiles.

Shantae:morning!

She blushes to see him without a top on.

Kai:hey shantae.

He put on his top as shantae shakes her head to try and focus.

Shantae:I wanted to ask if you want to come and visit uncle mimic with me.

Kai nods as he gets up.

Kai:sure!

He gets up and picks up shantae bridal style.

Shantae:h-huh?

Kai:I know a faster way! He smirks as he jumps out the window and lands on top of a house and continues to move towards mimics workshop.
