"I hate I hate I hate, thoughs fools with no one to guide them with magic, a waste of my own talents!" Maxwell yelling to himself. Maxwell the wizard lived alone, no pets, and not even any servents, just him. Maxwell liked the solitude, he had come to a conclusion that he was smart then the average man and was better off without them, and in a sense that was true.

Maxwell stood on the balcony of his tower which was a gigantic tree which he had used magic on to sote his needs. The tree tower consisted of many floors with many different purposes, he had a floor which he used as his library and his study, bathrooms with a huge bath, an indoor garden, and even a floor where he can practice his magic. But there was a door to a floor in which was looked up tight, Maxwell never went into that floor.

Maxwell was sitting in his study working on how he could make the nearby villagers life hard. There was a pass in which the villagers would take to go and trade with the other villages, so he decided to make the pass difficult to venture threw, he lookd into his seeing stone and saw there where a group of merchants from the nearby village (the villages name being Wienu) in the middle of the Pass, Maxwell grew a large grin on his face and made his way towards his balcony which went around the tree tower so he could see the world around him. Once he got to the top and stood on the balcony facing the Pass in which the merchants were taking he strectch out both his arms and began to chant a low mutter of words, soon a dark cloud formed over the Pass and rain amd light started to come from the cloud, Maxwell laughed as he looked into his seeing stone and saw that the merchants were in a panic and running trying to find shelter. A tree was hit by lighting and it crashed blocking the merchants path. Maxwell smiled happy at his work turned around and walked inside, he new that the storm cloud in which he made would soon fade away. He was sitting at his desk in his room with the seeing stone resting on the desk in front of him still watching the merchants who were now struggling to move the fallen tree off the path. His face was resting on his hands as he was watching the merchants continue to stuggle, he was no longer amused by his work, he was already board with it, so he waved his hand over the seeing stone and the storm which was over the Pass faded.

Chapter 2- Nightmares

When Maxwell had saw that the sun had gone down he got up from his desk and took off his black robe and slipping into his night robes and slipped into his bed, this was the time of the day that Maxwell dreaded. Every time Maxwell fell asleep he would get vived nightmares of his past, dark memory's in which he wanted to forget and always he would wake up after hearing "Maxwell!" Being screamed by a women, then he would jolt awake sweet dripping from his forehead.

Maxwell headed to his garden which was on the 3rd floor (there where five floors all together). In there garden floor he had many fruits and vegetables in wich he grew to help sustain himself, and also herbs and other plants which he would use to make his potions. Maxwell headed to the back of the floor and went into a small room in which he grew a surtin plant which he smoked in a pipe and it helped clear his mind and calm it to a point were it made him very relaxed. Maxwell plucked a few of the buds and put them in his pocket, then he headed back up to the balcony and sat in a chair in which he had set up, he pulled a bud from the plant he had plucked broke it up and put it in his pipem, a small flame came from the tip of his finger which he used to light his pipe, he took a few puffs from his pipe and layed back in his chair and closed his eye's. He felt relaxed and tryed to think of nothing, he was tierd of thinking, it was all he did.

As Maxwell headed down to his study wich was on the 4th floor he could here a some distance from outside of his tree tower, he had keen hearing. Maxwell was on the bottum floor and walked towards a trinagle shape in the wall, he placed his hand on the triangle and muttered a word, a door way was made and he walked threw it to the out side, standing in front of him were the merhants he had cased trouble for, there were five of them all bearing swords and sheilds wich most merchants had to give the self protection. They were all staring at Maxwell with fire in there eye's, Maxwell smiled.
