It's hard to imagine the boy with so many scars to be so fragile inside.
So brittle, that every breeze can cause him to break.

It's hard to imagine what his skin looked like before it got drowned in black ink.
What it felt like to run your fingers across the pale silk that covered him.

It was hard to imagine him at all.
His existence seemed like a myth, a tale hid away from the world, only a few pairs of eyes being able to trace the words that he has left behind.

He was a story.

A story he wished to never tell yet it was so easy to let it escape.

A story that brought beauty into the gloom of the world, a dim light that didn't seem to spark as much as the others.

However, that was enough for her.

Enough for her to touch his eclipse with her luminosity.

Enough for her to fall.
