Riley's POV
I sat in the disciplinary office with my hands fumbling in my lap. The head of discipline sat across from me, just staring. I tried my best to look into his eyes, but every once in a while I had to tear my gaze from his. He tapped his pencil on the desk. I felt like some little kid in trouble sitting in the principle's office. The security guard was standing by the door, holding the keys I'd stolen. When i swiped them from his belt, he bumped into me standing up after picking up my fallen book. It made me drop the keys, and the doctor noticed they'd fallen from my hands. He'd asked me sternly if I took them, and being the girl I was, I'd grumbled a 'yes'. Then, unnecessarily, a security guard dragged me to this office with my hands behind my back.
"That was a pretty bad thing to do, Ms. Evans," the man finally said.
"I know," I mumbled.
"Can I ask why you stole the keys?" he asked, and I knew I couldn't answer no to that question. I could, however, lie to keep Zayn out of trouble.
"Uh, I wanted...morphine," I muttered. It wasn't a lie, really. I did want it, just not for myself.
"How long have you been addicted to the drug?" he pried.
"Erm...two months,"I told him. His lip twitched.
"Funny, Ms. Evans. We just tested your blood a week or two ago and you were clear of any overuse of drugs," he replied. Shit. I felt my cheeks turning hot. And then my entire body did, vision disappearing for a moment and I struggled to fight her from taking over. I failed, as always. The head seemed to notice my change and he stood me from my chair.
"We'll finish later," he stated, handing me over to the guard.
"Let go of me, you son of a bitch," I snarled. Rylee was strong, but Black Rose was much stronger. I get out of the guard's grasp and shoved him into the wall, storming down the hall to my room. I rounded the corner, I saw a very pale Liam being literally dragged by Dr. Dee, one of my favorites. A wave of heat hit me and I was back to normal, running back to my room without giving Liam a second thought. When I stepped through my door, Harry was sitting on my bed, bruised and bandaged.
"What the hell, Harry? What happened?" I demanded.
"Shh. I'n supposed to be in the room across the hall," he told me.
"Why? And answer my question dammit!"
"Ok. What happened was Zayn and I got into a fist fight. He tried to go after you," he began. He was hiding something. "And I'm supposed to be in there because he's in our room."
"Why the hell were you fighting with my boyfriend?" I snapped, annoyed he would do something as dick-leveled as that.
"He tried to go to the disciplinary office after you!" Harry said. We were shouting now.
"Why does that give anyone the right to be throwing punches?" I screamed. I didn't care if the nurses heard and took him out anymore.
"You don't understand, Rose! He's using you! He only wants sex and drugs, don't you get it?"
"No! No, he's not using me! He likes me!" My voice broke and tears began to stream down my face. How could he jump to conclusions like that?
"He can't see you anymore, Rose! He'll hurt you!"
"You're not my keeper, Harry! You have no fucking right to tell me who I can and can't see!" I screamed, getting closer to his face so I could jab my finger into his chest. I didn't get it. I never got angry when I was Rylee. I either stayed calm and collected, or turned into Black Rose.
