~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bill's Point of View~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke to the sound of a violent rain, smashing against the boarded windows. It thundered as the storm raged on. The wind howled in the night. I gazed around the room, to find I was the only one awake. Everyone else was sound asleep, oblivious to what was going on outside. I stared out the window, into the sky. Black clouds released giant drops of rain, which splattered onto the ground and window. I felt soothed in the chaos of the storm.
"Bill?" A tired voice called my name. I glanced away from the window, to see Pine Tree sitting up, rubbing his eyes. "What are you doing, Bill?" He asked.
"Watching the storm." A flash of lightning lit up the dark room. Shooting Star sat up.
"WHAT WAS THAT LIGHT!!????" She shrieked, causing Pacifica to wake up.
"Great we're all up." I growled sarcastically. Pacifica glanced at me, seemingly confused.
"Where am I?" She asked in a confused voice.
"In the Mystery Shack." Pine Tree reminded her.
"Oh tha-BILL WHY ARE YOU NOT WEARING A SHIRT???!!!" She gasped in horror at me.
"WHY DOES IT MATTER TO YOU WHETHER IM WEARING A SHIRT OR NOT!?!?!??!!" I practically screamed back.
"BECAUSE ITS WEIRD!!!!"
"WHY ARE WE YELLING????!!!!!" Asked Mabel. We all sat in silence, then Dipper and Mabel burst out laughing. Pacifica smiled. I glared at them all. For a some reason their happiness was...upsetting me. Why? I should be laughing...
"Bill, is something wrong?" Mabel asked, giving me a concerned look.
"No no...everything's fine." I felt my anger fade at the sound of her voice. We sat in awkward silence.
"Anyone hungry?" Mabel asked.
"Me!" Dipper said.
"Yeah I guess." Pacifica replied. Mabel gave her a mischievous look.
"Then let's go." The three of them walked to the door way, and Dipper pushed it open. It emitted a loud creak. I stood up and followed behind them. We crept down the stairs, silently. The only noises were from the storm, as the thunder clapped and the rain pattered against the roof. We snuck into the kitchen, and Shooting Star opened the fridge and Pine Tree opened the cabinets.
"Got any Doritos?" I whispered to Pine Tree. He laughed, and handed me a bag. I happily took it. Mabel pulled out some cheese, and Pacifica grabbed a juice box. Dipper grabbed a bag of Chipackerz and we headed back upstairs to enjoy our snacks. We all leaped onto our beds and began talking about random things.
"Bill have you ever tasted Smile Dip?" Shooting Star asked.
"That stuff is dangerous." I replied, giving her a serious look. Then my mouth busted into a smile. "Of course! That stuff is amazing. But not as good as Doritos." I stuffed one of the chips into my mouth. Nom nom nom.
"Is living at Northwest Mansion fun?" Dipper asked Pacifica.
"It's cool I guess...but it gets a bit lonely." She sighed. We all chatted for a good half hour until we all heard a loud sound. The lights flickered out and everyone sat in silence, waiting for their eyes to adjust to the dark.
"What happened?" Mabel asked.
"The power went out, I think." I replied. The room temperature began dropping, due to the lack of heat. Greeeaaat. Everyone wrapped themselves into blankets and sheets and I through on a shirt.
"Ugh. This would have never have happened at my manor." Pacifica groaned.
"Be grateful you at least have shelter." I hissed to her. She glared back, a threatening look in her eyes.
"Shut up, bumblebee." She snarled, gesturing to my yellow and black clothing. I stood up, towering over her.
"How dare you!" I growled.
"Bill, she's just trying to start a fight. Ignore her." Pine Tree butted in. I gave a menacing glare at Pacifica. She held my gaze for a moment, tension sparking between us, then she looked away. I gave a 'hmf' of satisfaction and sat back down next to Shooting Star.
"Gosh, Mabel you make the itchiest of sweaters." Complained Pacifica.
"Be thankful that it's at least warm." Mabel replied.
"Yeah, but I really hate the texture."
"Shut up." I growled at her.
"This isn't your fight to get into, Bill." Pine Tree stated.
"What if it is?"
"Mabel, I hate this sweater."
"Bill stay out of this!"
"Pacifica your so annoying!" We all began quarreling with each other. Dipper tried to keep me out of Mabel and Pacifica's conversation, while they argued. As I fought with Dipper, I could feel myself losing control of my temper. My eye began to turn a hateful reddish color as I desperately struggled to keep control over myself. Then I lost it.
"I have the right to say whatever I want, whenever I want to whomever I want to." I hissed. "And I'm not going to take orders from a 16 year old!" I snarled, stalking right up to Pine Tree. I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt. Pine Tree looked terrified.
"You are never going to command me around again." I growled. My hand began glowing with blue flames. "I'll make sure of it." I began slowly sliding my pocket knife out of where it lay in the pocket of my pants. Mabel and Pacifica had stopped their quarreling to see what was happening.
"Bill! Stop no!" Shooting Star yelled. She leaped at me, tackling me to the ground. I slashed the dagger at her, cutting through her sleeve to her arm. She let out a yelp of pain. As I realized who I was attacking, the wild, hateful look in my eye turned to horror.
"Shooting Star! I'm sorry." I quickly stood up and backed away from her. She stood up as well, holding her arm.
"It's ok, Bill. I shouldn't have tackled you." She gave me a weak smile, but I was to mortified to return it. I looked over at Dipper and Pacifica who's eyes were wide with horror.
"Bill....You...you hurt my sister." Dipper said, stunned. "Y-you did the one thing you said you never were gonna do..." I looked at the ground, hanging my head in shame.
"Don't worry, Dipper! It's just a scratch." Mabel said, worriedly. She could obviously sense the awful tension between Dipper and me.
"I-I'm sorry Pine Tree! I just...I lost control..."
"What were those blue flames about?" Pacifica asked, a look of sheer horror on her face.
"Can you keep a secret?" Mabel asked. Pacifica nodded.
"Well you see...Bill isn't exactly human..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~10 minutes of explanation later...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Wow. So Bill is not from this dimension." Pacifica said, a look of awe in her eyes. "That's crazy."
"Well, we should probably get back to sleep." Dipper suggested, glancing out the window. I nodded, awkwardly fidgeting with the bandages wrapped around my chest. Mabel nodded as well, then left the room for a minute to clean her arm off. We all prepared to go to bed in an awkward silence. Everyone got into their proper beds. And everyone drifted off to sleep...
But not me because why the hell would we want Bill to sleep? I sat there, guilty thinking about what I had done to Shooting Star.
I had messed up.
