APHMAU POV

"Aphmau, honey! Get ready we're going to Zianna's house! They invited us for dinner!" My mom yells to me, I sigh. "Coming, mom!" I shout back. I get out a nice dress I have and get right into it. I smile and hear my phone buzz. I look over to it and pick it up, it's Zane.

I walk downstairs and see my moms all dressed up. She sees me and smiles and takes me to the car. "You know them right? You surely know their son's, they go to school with you," I nod. "Yes, I do, mom," I smile. I especially know Zane. The emo idiot who secretly likes my little horsies. Yet is also somehow my best friend. We arrive at the house an mom parks. "Behave," she says as she gets out the car. I follow her to the house and she knocks. An what do ya know? Zane answers the door.

"Hello, you guys can come in," He says and I walk in after my mom. "Hey Aph," Zane says. "Hey Zane," I smile and see Garroth come down the stairs. "Hey Aphmau!" He greets, I smile a wave. "Hey Garroth," He walks over to us. "How have things been?" He asks, I smile. "Pretty good, you?" I ask, he smiles. "Good as well," He responds. Zane rolls his eyes and looks at me. "Hey Aph, wanna go to my room and hangout?" Zane asks, I nod. "Sure," He nods and we head up to his room.

A bit after we take a seat a stare at Zane and grin. "What, Aph?" He asks, quick PSA Zane hates being called emo, so I do what any good friend would do and not call him emo... SIKE. I smile. "You're emo all like 'I hate everything'," I start laughing. "Am not!" I smirk "Are too."

"Are to- wait," Zane stands up and puts his hands on the table and I do the same. After a good ten minutes of bickering we stare at each other and laugh. "Hahahah, sorry Aph," Zane puts his hands behind his head. "No I'm sorry hahahahahah," I nearly fall out of my chair. "You two act like a married couple," Zianna comments, I fall out of my seat. "Aphmau! Are you okay?" My mom helps me up, I laugh and nod.

After eating me Garroth and Zane head upstairs and hang out. We overall get along minus the fact that Zane and Garroth bickered every now and then. When it came time to leave Garroth gave me a hug and Zane waved bye. I wave bye to Zane and smile. "See ya at school, Mister Emo Pants," He rolls his eyes and I walk away. Me and mom get into the car. "Mija," She says and looks to me. "If you and Zane were dating you would tell me, right?" I confusedly nod. "Yes mom, why?" I ask. "Well, are you two dating?" I laugh. "No mom! That's so gross," She nods. "Then what was that at dinner? When you feel out of your seat after the comment Zianna made?" Mom asks. I sigh. "I don't know," I look down. "Mm," Mom hums and starts to drive. She nudges me. "If you two were to start dating I wouldn't mind," She smiles. "Mom!" She laughs and so do I.

When we get home I go straight to my room and plop right onto my bed. I hate this dress, so uncomfortable. I change out of it and into a nice quick outfit. I sit back in bed and play on my phone when I see *Notification: Zane the emo🖤* I open it immediately it's pretty late so it must be important.

I immediately start laughing, what the hell? Bold of him to assume I would ever like someone like him. Even if I did why would I admit it?

I laugh and close messages. Zane's nothing but a friend. My best friend. Why would I want to jeopardize that by dating him? I'm perfectly happy as things are. I look at the ceiling. "Yeah, happy," I smile as mom walks into my room. "Bedtime Aphmau," She says, I nod and shut out my lights and give her a hug. "Love you mama," I smile and lay in bed. I yawn and feel my eyes get more and more heavy until I eventually fall asleep and dream something I thought I never would.
