Me, my my family and Chris were at the hospital. I'm over here crying and Chris is pacing back and fourth. I guess my mom, Genee, sense my sadness because she looked at Chris before saying

" Chris come you need to sit down and calm do-gco"

"Fuck that it all started with that bitch! " He barked.

Ma was going to say something but then Mama Joyce walked in

" Where is he ? Chris what happen?" She looked around like he was looking for answer. " Chris, Chris. Look at me" she tried to get his attention but it didn't work.

"Why would you care! It not like you was ever there, you put him in the care of his father." i yelled at her. I didn't know what can over me but I knew I was going to explode.

She looked back at me. "How dare you ever say I wasn't gco"

"You were never there!" I screch. Tears fall down my face. "When you were getting beat up by your husband, did you ever know that it was Kaquan that was protecting Chris from that monster you call a man. And what did you do? You threw him away, you shut him out of not only yours, but Chris's life as well. You should leave , it not like he ever wanted you around any ways." I said next thing I know I feel a slap across my face, my mother scream hell no and security bum rushed in our direction.

Shayla POV

I woke to the sound of yelling I walk out of my room to some hood rats fighting. I shook my head and went back to my room and call for a nurse.

Once she come in and told me to wait for my doctor, Mrs. Thompson, to check me and discharged me from the hospital.

I called August to let him know I'm up and that I need a ride. My doctor walks in.

"Good afternoon Shayla, how are you feeling today?" She asked

"I'm feeling okay... *feels head bandage* What happen?" I asked

"Well you were hit in the head, *remove bandage* the swollen have went down, and your over night observation went well. So you are all good to go."

"Okay, thanks." Just as my doctor left August walked in with Sarah right behind her. She give me a look then went plain faced.

"Look Sarah I know you are mad at me for the things I've done to you and your family, I'm sorry. I truly am, will you forgive me?" I looked into her eyes and saw the gates of hell flash in them. I gulped then looked down. I hope we can worked this out.

Sarah inhale and exhale " Shayla, you have done things that is unforgivable. I don't think I can trust you. But with the possible that child is August's I will put my beef aside for the stake of our children." And with she turn and walk towards the door. " Aug I'll be in the car." She walks out of the room.

I look at August to see him grabbing me up by my rib cage to pick me up bridal style. He place me on a wheel chair and rolled me to the car.

"I did it. I know where we can found her." I said.

"Good" was all he said.

I looked into the green eyes of mine son. Paybacks a bitch.
