Chapter 26

Sofia's POV

I woke up to bright light I guess we left the blinds open. Ella was sleeping next to me, well she was practically off the bed. I chuckled this wasn't the first time I found her like that she has a habit to roll around in the bed in her sleep she had once even rolled over me. she would have fallen off the bed if I hadn't stopped her at that moment like I was doing right now. I pulled her up and made her lay in the centre of the bed. I got up and wore the robe Ella was wearing last night.

Walking out to the lounge I called up the room service ordering both of us breakfast and newspapers. I was trying to find my phone but it was nowhere in sight the fuck?

Where did I put my phone now? I quickly changed into joggers and sports bra deciding to take a run along the beach. as soon as I stepped out of the small house I saw Sonny "Sonny I lost my phone somewhere can you ask one for the staff to look around in the room after Ella wakes up.

"Sure Boss," he said and then mumbled something into his selves. well looks like he's getting along with the royal guards just fine. I started running along the beach. the water looked beautiful. maybe I should have gone for a dip instead of a run. that's when I saw a puppy pulling on a basket.

"Sonny this is a private beach right?" I asked looking back at him and he nodded "And Ella and I are the only residents here?" he nodded again. I walked towards the puppy when he left the basket and ran towards me. "Hey bubby what do you have here?" I said with a baby voice and looked in the basket WHAT THE FUCK?!! IT'S A BABY!!!

"Sonny!" it almost came out as a whisper .

"I'm going to go ask around," he said and I just nodded. Who the fuck leaves a kid like this? The fuck is wrong with people? The baby was not moving, this got me panicking even more. I touched the baby to check it's pulse and breath out a sigh of relief when I found a steady heartbeat. The baby was just sleeping. It was chill so I decided maybe near water is not a good idea for a newborn kid. I took the puppy in one hand and the newborn baby's basket in the other walking back to the house. I kept the baby on the couch and called the other guard to ask if there were any updates.

"Ma'am we are still checking if any staff member has lost they're a kid but till now we aren't able to locate the baby's parents. The puppy was sitting next to the basket as if it was keeping an eye on it.

"Ok, Charlie just I don't know... find where this baby came from and who the fuck was this asshole who let the baby on the beach like that," I said frustrated.

That's when the baby woke up and started to cry.

Ella's POV

I woke up alone. Sofia must have gone for a run. I got up and wore a pair of oversized t-shirts. I brushed my teeth and walked outside to find Sofia singing with a baby in her arms.
"Funny" I chuckled but realized I'm not dreaming "Wait! Who's baby is that?" I asked confused.

"what do you mean whos baby it is?" she asked me confused "It's our baby," she said.

"Ok haha I got you pregnant and you had a baby in the span of a few hours," I said sarcastically. "Come on, Who's baby is it?" I asked her again this time with a straight face.

"I don't know" she shrugged.

"What do you mean you don't know? Where did the baby come from?" I asked her now panicking.

"Well I went for a run on the beach and well there it was. The baby was just there in that basket" she pointed towards a baby carriage " the puppy over that was dragging it" that when I noticed the puppy near the basket. "I informed Sonny and the other guards they are trying to find out where the baby came from. But till now they haven't found anything till yet. They are checking if any staff is missing a baby" she sighed.
