Chapter 12

SHE FIXED her composure as she let Ryker do whatever he wants, seducing her with all his might, hindi niya pinapakita na may epekto 'yon sa kanya pero ang totoo, her defense was slowly crumbling. She's affected. At hindi sigurado ni Cj kung kaya pa niyang kontrolin ang sarili niyang katawan sa mga susunod na panlalandi sa kanya ni Ryker.

She sighed heavily.

"What?" Ryker asked and glance at her, worried was visible in his face.

"Huh?"

"You sighed, heavily. What's the matter? Naiinip ka na ba?" Sunod sunod na tanong nito sa kanya.

Nakahiga ng patagilid si Ryker sa carpeted floor habang ginagawang unan ang matipunong braso nito, his right leg was folded, at may isang mangkok ng popcorn sa gilid nito. They're chilling like there's no bad man hunting them down. Ang huling balita nila kay Levi, the boss, wants to kidnap them.

"Not really," aniya at tumuon ang mga mata sa Tv.

Ilang araw na silang nakakulong sa bahay ni Light. They can go out whenever they want, pero tinatamad siya. Simply because of her monthly period. Sa loob ng ilang araw na 'yon, kung hindi siya nilalandi ni Ryker, they're watching TV shows together, movies, anime series — suggested by Sakki, Kdrama — suggested by Isabella, they play board games like snake and ladders dahil pareho silang walang future sa chess. And, during lunch, they always cooked process foods together, they also tried to bake cookies and in order to do that — inistorbo nilang dalawa ang pinsan nito na si Rion.

It was a chaotic baking but the results taste good, although it looks bad because Ryker, literally, crushed the chocolate chips. At kapag nagpapahinga sila, lalapit na lang sa kanya si Ryker at ipapakita ang online shop na nakita nito kung saan, and they just found themselves adding whatever suits their taste to the cart and check the items out after. Tsaka lang nila ma re-realize na nagtitipid nga pala sila dahil na cut na naman sila sa pagta-trabaho at wala na rin sa poder niya ang card ni Nyker.

She's now convince that their love language was spending quality time together.

Umikot ang mga mata ni Cj nang mapansin ang ginagawa nito sa kanya. Ni hindi nga niya namalayan na nakaupo na pala si Ryker sa tabi niya.

"Will you stop kissing the back of my hand?" Pinilit niyang maging iritado ang boses niya. Because, damn! What's he's doing right now was sending a thousand of butterflies inside her stomach!

Ryker smirked and stop kissing the back of her hand, pero hindi ito bumitaw, he clasped their hands together and ley his head on her shoulder. Nasa kanya lahat ng bigat ng katawan nito pero hinayaan nalang niya. Sunod sunod ang paglunok na ginawa niya habang pinapakiramdaman ang mabilis na tibok ng puso niya. Her breathing was uneven, and seems like Ryker noticed it, dahil bahagya itong gumalaw at isinandal ang likod nito sa sofa.

"Will you marry me?" Ryker whispered softly behind her ear.

Bahagyang nanlaki ang mga mata niya at nagsitaasan lahat ng balahibo niya sa katawan dahil doon. Only to find out that he's citing the next line of the male lead, sa movie na pinapanood nila. Cj's mood suddenly change. Nawala ang kaba sa dibdib niya at napalitan 'yon ng inis. She's pissed.

"Will you be mine? Hmm, Calista?" He asked again.

Tangina!

Hindi siya agad nakasagot at bumaba ang tingin sa magkahawak nilang kamay, Ryker was now playing with her fingers, he even locked their pinky together.

"You're joking, right?" She manage to asked him back without stammering.

Ryker snorted. "Of course not!"
