This couldn't have gone any other way.

Taehyung spent his whole morning running around for his roommate Amber, instead of taking in consideration that he would be late for work.

He even managed to get out of the house in time to miss rush hour. He was obviously wrong. Of course he would be stuck in traffic.

Taehyung drummed his fingers on his steering wheel, feeling the stress pick up on him as the time continued to flee further and further.

Traffic was heavy and Taehyung was late. Late as, usual.

Sometimes he didn't even understand why he took this job. He was more than capable to apply for an intern job in London, but living in Bradford, you can't help but find small jobs like this.

Taehyung arrived to work a few moments later.

His awareness of the time that had already past faster than he anticipated was at the back of his mind when he parked his car in the usual spot, at the side of the café building.

Pulling his apron on while walking towards the building, Taehyung opened the door, hastily making his way to the back of the café.

His entrance consisted on avoiding customers and the gaze from his god awful boss as he slid his side fringe, slightly across his face, hoping it disguised him.

"T!"

Taehyung flinched and forced his eyes closed as he stopped dead in his tracks and huffed to himself.

Hs heard the arrogance of his feet, walking; stomping towards him.

Taehyung was so close to the back. A customer gave him a sympathetic look as he smiled in pity. Great, even the customer felt sorry for him.

"Morning, Ted." Taehyung mumbled, rolling his eyes then finally turning his gaze on him.

Taehyung pulled a smile as if he loved waking up at six thirty in the morning every day. He purposely put himself through the painful process of waking up in early hours of the morning, just to miss rush hour to get to work early.

"You're late!" He stated the obvious. "Again!"

Here comes the next protest.

If it wasn't for his permanent scowl, he'd actually be attractive. But that's now the case.

The permanent death stare ruined his beautiful smile. Twenty one year old with an attitude of a boss that's been working for over forty years of his life.

Who would have thought they were the same age, or even imagine them to even be friends.

His maturity level was as if he looked down at him. Sometimes there would be days where he was nice, and approachable, but not today.

They were friends once, but his bossy tendencies began to build up on him and well, you know the rest.

The confrontation Taehyung had with him wasn't really anticipated and he hated surprises when he gave him a piece of his mind.

"I know I'm late." Taehyung began. "But the traffic was super heavy. I'm sorr—"

He shook his head, stopping him mid sentence as he explained his usual excuse.
