Sunday, July 17. For Cassie, the most important day of the month has always been the 17. As long as she could remember, from the days she worked under Florence Musically. Before, it was the busiest day of the year, almost entirely meetings. But now, it was the only day their CEO actually came into the office.
Cassie stood waiting at her desk, the elevator numbers going up suspensefully. Finally the doors opened to reveal... Jana? What a letdown, she couldn't tease Mr. Tyler about his irrational dislike of people...a shame. She sighed, but prepared to greet her underclassman.
"Cassie!" Jana said, rushing towards her, distressed? "You will never believe it! Our CEO, he challenged ISAC INSTAGRAM to some money battle or some shit! The inter webs are b-lowing UP wi- Huh? Cassie? Are you ok?"
Cassie stood shocked, her face pale. She banged her head onto her keyboard. She was dead meat.
