Kikyo sat on the two headed creature named Ah-Un, crossing her arms and glaring at Sesshomaru. Rin stared at her happily. "What is your name?" Rin asked. "Kikyo." Kikyo said absently. "You know, you are very pretty. Does Lord Sesshomaru like you?" Rin asked. Kikyo started coughing. "Rin! Lord Sesshomaru has probably brought this human along for a reason to defeat Naraku! Not for her to be his mate!" Jaken yelled. Sesshomaru stopped. "My lord, do you like Lady Kikyo?" Rin asked. Jaken looked furious. Sesshomaru didn't reply. "Er, me lord, might I ask you why you decided to bring this human along?" Jaken asked nervously. Sesshomaru turned to stare at them with expressionless eyes. Jaken flinched and Rin looked at him eagerly. "She is simply here because I know for a fact that she should be dead." He said. Jaken and Rin gaped. Kikyo looked at Sesshomaru. "How did you know that?" She asked in disbelief. Sesshomaru turned around and kept walking. Ah-Un followed along with Jaken, Rin, and Kikyo on his back. Jaken stared at her suspiciously. "Let's rest here." Sesshomaru said after awhile. They set up camp near a river. As Rin and Jaken slept, Kikyo stared at the stars. "So tell me Kikyo, how are you still alive?" Sesshomaru asked. Kikyo looked into his amber eyes. "When Naraku removed the jewel that was in Kohaku, my spirit was released." Kikyo replied simply.Sesshomaru stood up and kneeled down next to her. His fingers grabbed her chin and he turned her head to face him. Sesshomaru stared into her eyes and leaned toward her face. His lips then met Kikyo's lips. He pulled away after a couple seconds and stared at her shocked face. He let go of her chin and stood up. He was about to walk away but then Kikyo said, "Wait. C-can you stay beside me until I fall asleep?" A tiny smirk crossed his face. He sat next to Kikyo and hugged her tight. Kikyo snuggled into his arms and fell into a deep sleep.
