Another cold windy Monday morning at Hawkins, Indiana in 1985. Sofia was just getting ready when her mom called her name from downstairs.
"Hey Sofia are you done getting ready for school your going to be late."she yells.
"Yeah Almost." You say looking for your notebook. "Looking for this." You turn around and see your older sister Gabrielle.
"Thank you gabby". You say sarcastic and grab the notebook and put it in your backpack. You run downstairs. And run outside and see that mom is in the car already so you get.
Your mom starts driving. You stare out the window staring at all the houses and kids that were walking past. 5 minutes past by and you were at the school.
"By mama." You say getting out of the car and look back waving bye. Then you hear the bell ring. "Oh no". You say starting to run to class. You run up the stairs , down a hall way then get to class. You open the door then everyone looks at you.
The teacher looks up at you. "Sofia Lopez,your late." The teachers say serious. "I'm so sorry."
You say sitting next to max.
