Episode 5: First Exploration! (Part 1)

A few days after the events of the crash, Commander KoKo Ci personally held a ceremony to welcome the new members, Boboiboy and Gopal, into the Earth Branch of TAPOPS. The layout was simple and not overly elaborate, shown by a makeshift wooden stage and a podium. Other people present were Tok Aba, Ochobot and Reisen, who took the audience seats, as well as MotoBot to help KoKo Ci with the ceremony.

"Ladies, Gentlemen and Power Spheres..." The stocky figure stood on a podium, making his speech. "We are gathered here this morning... To inaugurate two new cadets into the Earth Branch of TAPOPS: Boboiboy and Gopal!" He pointed his hands to the two teenagers on stage. "For that, their duty is to travel across the galaxy, to seek and rescue Power Spheres.  As for me, being tasked with managing this new-formed branch of TAPOPS, I will make sure to guide and assist them to the right path as successful members." He earned applause from the three audiences present before going down from his podium.

"MotoBot, bring me their badges." KoKo Ci gestured to his mechanical companion, who was holding a tray containing two badges for each of the two boys, to come with him. The triangular, outlined badges with a red 'T' symbol on them shone as they reflected the rays of the morning light, giving out a fresh, new and modern look to them. As MotoBot approached Gopal, the commander took one badge and firmly attached it to his shirt then later did the same to Boboiboy.

"Woah! This looks super cool!-" Boboiboy admired the shiny-new badge of TAPOPS, only right after that KoKo Ci forcefully removed it from his sweater and Gopal's as well, earning gasps from the two clueless boys. "Enough, give me those! We need them for the next batch of cadets." The alien commander said before returning it to MotoBot to put those away.

"Sheesh, what a cheapskate." Gopal groaned, this didn't go unnoticed by the commander, as shown by him turning around, pointing his stick at the Indian boy and giving him what looks like a death glare. "What did you call me?!"

"Err... Umm..." The scared boy fumbled in place. "C-Commander CiCi Ko!"

"Wrong answer!" The commander exclaimed while putting his stick down. "In all official affairs, you must address me with my real name, KoKo Ci! Commander KoKo Ci!" He put on (two pairs of) his trademark shades, with the second one flashing as it reflected the sunlight. "Got it?"

"Yes Commander KoKo Ci!" The two boys stood straight and shouted, earning a 'Very good" from the commander. 

"Both of you are now officially members of TAPOPS, the Earth Branch. Congratulations, Cadet Boboiboy, Cadet Gopal." The stocky alien walked around in front of the two boys, giving his speech in a serious voice. He turned to the two boys, raised his right hand in front of his forehead, then raised his left hand in a way so it formed a tilted 'T' shape with the other arm, the standard TAPOPS's salute. As a response, Boboiboy and Gopal also copied the gesture. 

"Joining TAPOPS will put a lot of responsibilities on my back, but I'll do my best with my new allies!" Boboiboy thoughts suggested his determined mindset.

"Hm... I wonder what kinds of aliens I will see... Space ogres? Flying pizzas? Or maybe... light elves?!... And uh... I think we're missing something..." Gopal... Well... He's Gopal.

The commander nodded before turning to the audience seat where Tok Aba, Ochobot and Reisen were watching the whole ceremony. "Sergeant Reisen." He addressed the moon rabbit specifically. This made Reisen stand up and walk over to the stage.

"Sergeant Reisen. From now on, you'll technically be working as a member of the Earth Branch of TAPOPS. I hope you, Boboiboy and Gopal can get along and learn from one another as teammates." Said KoKo Ci, keeping his cool look, quadrupled thanks to his pairs of shades. "Roger!" Shouted the moon rabbit while doing the same TAPOPS's salute.
