Next week, I arrive at the pizzaria. To my surprise, there is a sign on the front doors.

"CLOSED for relocation"

I sigh in relief as I know this might be my last day if boss plans on hiring new employees. Finally a chance to get out of this hell.

"Hey, Vincent! I got something important to tell ya," Boss placed a hand on my shoulder and led me down the main hallway.

"If this is about staying after hours again, find someone else." I groan.

"No, no, this isn't about after hours," he said and took a puff of his cigar. "you have been working quite hard this last week, and well, I figured I ought to move your job up a notch!" He exclaimed and plastered a smile on his face.

Move my job up a notch..?

"What are you talking about?" I said slowly.

"I'm moving you up. You will no longer be one of the waitors, so I'm going to move you tooooo... The new day guard!"

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

"No," I simply reply.

There ain't NO way I'm working as the day guard. That just makes my job more stressful than it already is. I begin to walk away before I'm
stopped.

"Wait wait wait!" Boss takes hold of my arm. "I will raise your pay."

Hmm. Let's see. I can either go get some other boring job that has a lower pay or I can stay here and work my shitty job as a day guard and get a high pay. I swivel on my heel to face him. I take a step forward and hold my hand out with a sly smile spread across my face.

"Deal"

He firmly grasps my hand and shakes.

"Deal"

While I walk away, Boss turns to face me. "Oh yeah, and I need you to take care of Freddy. Yea know, take off his costume and take him to the back room."

Once I get back to work, I step up onto the show stage. I face the animatronic and study it for a minute. It's brown fur is matted, his eyes are all droopy, and the hat atop his head is barely hanging off by a thread. Damn, they really need to fix this thing up... Or at least give it a bath because it smells absolutely terrible. I remove the mask and body costume, revealing the bare endoskeleton underneath. The endoskeleton is 10 times creepier with the costume off than it already was with it on. I pick it up and move it to the back room where we hold all the animatronic parts. After placing the endoskeleton down, I see something in the corner of my eye and it quickly catches my attention. I snap my head to look at it. I then find not one, but two things.

Two animatronics.

I have never seen these before and they looked brand new, as if they were never used. The first one looked exactly like our regular Freddy Fazbear mascot, but instead of it being brown, it's coat is a yellow-golden color. Placed next to it was the second animatronic- it was the same color but instead of a bear, this one was a rabbit. It's head and body were a different shape from the bear's and had much larger teeth. Two black buttons were placed on it's chest, probably to look like buttons on a vest or something of the sort. He also had a black bow tie like the other animatronic. Knowing the history of this place, I know that we have never had these two on the show stage. Or even active for that matter. I rush to boss's office to question him about them.

"Hey, uh, what's up with the two things in the back room?" I ask.

"What two things? Oh, you mean Golden Freddy and Golden Bonnie!" He nodded his head.

"They are going to be our new animatronics for when we relocate. Instead of reusing old Freddy, we decided to get new mascots." He continued. "It was originally supposed to be a surprise for all the employees, including you, but I guess I forgot to move them out of the back room." He said while rummaging through a stack of papers on his desk.

I am struck speechless. He just decided to get new animatronics? What about Freddy Fazbear? Is he still going to be active? So many questions flowed into my brain, I began to get a headache.

-

Since the company had to take some time to relocate, all employees took a few days off. Monday morning, I wake up and remember that I will not be working at the same place. Changing into my new security guard uniform, I look at myself in the mirror and frown. A purple dress shirt with a yellow badge that said 'SECURITY' across the front of it and a black tie, black dress pants, and a purple hat that also said security across the top. Out of all the colors in the fucking world, he chose purple... He is so goddamn stupid sometimes, I swear. Why not something normal, like blue, or even red.
I sigh and walk outside and hop into my car to drive to work.

-

I hardly recognized the building. They didn't just relocate, they also changes the logo of the place. The logo was a circle with an animated Golden Freddy and Golden Bonnie popping out of it with 'Fredbear's Family Diner' written across the bottom. It honestly kinda reminded me of the Looney Toons logo. Walking inside, I immediately saw the two new mascots on a large stage. They stood there and their head and eyes would move around, as if they were taking in the restaurant's appearance. Boss was standing in front of the stage with another man, who I guess is a repair man, and were doing test on the new animatronics.

Once all the employees arrived, Boss told us to come to the dining area for a surprise, which wasn't actually a surprise to me anymore. He stepped up not the stage and cleared his throat.

"I hope you all are very excited to be working at the new location of Fredbear's Family Diner. Due to technical errors with our last mascot, we have changed the new face of Fredbear's. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Golden Freddy and Golden Bonnie." He opened his arm out as he stepped to the side to reveal the new animatronics.
I studied over Bonnie. Something about him just... Felt odd. Honestly, I kinda liked him. He looked much better than the old Freddy animatronic.

"Now that isn't all," Boss continued.
"We got special endoskeleton with spring locks so humans have access to climb inside, sort of like a regular mascot suit."

I actually thought that was a pretty ridiculous idea. How the hell does somebody come up with that? Why can't you just get costumes that are make for humans and someone can just walk around in that? I'm guessing they also walk around like Old Freddy, due to the fact that they weren't attached to the floor and the spring locks helped them have more stability for being mobile.

After boss told us some other useless crap, everybody continued to usual business. I couldn't keep my eye off that freaking rabbit. It made me feel... Nervous. Like it would do something to me... And not a good thing.
