just a random short informative story

--------------------------------------------

One day two friends Sara and Tara were sitting in school on the benches near the playground it was break time.

They both were talking about different things in the world that would capture the attention of geography teachers and student which had to write an essay on these type of things, Tyke passed them on his way to the classroom as he got interested in the topic they were talking about which was “The Bermuda Triangle”.

He joined them and listened to all the things they were talking about. “Hey! Tara did you know that the Bermuda Triangle is also called The Devil’s Triangle?!” said Sara. Tyke got even more interested and before Tara could reply Tyke quickly asked her “Sara how do you know about the Bermuda Triangle?” “I just read about it yesterday while I was researching for my history project why?” replied Sara. Tyke ignored the question and asked her to tell more about the Bermuda Triangle.

“Well, an area that has been at the centre of many unexplained disappearances. The Bermuda Triangle lies between Bermuda, Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Within this area of water, numerous planes and ships have mysteriously vanished. The mystery of the Bermuda Triangle began in 1950. The area was given the name The Devil’s Sea. One of the most famous disappearances occurred in 1945. Flight 19 was a squadron of five naval bombers. All five planes supposedly disappeared while flying over the Bermuda Triangle.

The two planes that set out to rescue Flight 19 also disappeared and were never found. Naval ships such as the USS Cyclops and the Marine Sulpher Queen also disappeared without a trace. There are many others like that!”.

‘Do you want to hear more?’ asked Sara to Tyke.Tyke eagerly shook his head and said yes so Sara continued

‘another disappearance was that of Donald Crowhurst, who was attempting an around the world voyage. A large ship carrying ore also mysteriously vanished after only three days at sea.

Popularity of the Bermuda Triangle phenomenon reached a peak in 1974 with the publication of Charles Berlitz’s book, The Bermuda Triangle. At around the same time, a film with the same name was also released. Numerous articles and books have since been published to try and give scientific explanations to the mystery.

The stretch of water where the disappearances occurred is notorious for tropical storms. Many of the reports at the time claim that the ships and planes were lost in calm waters.

Also, the area of water under the triangle has large areas of methane gas eruptions. These eruptions create areas of gas that are incapable of supporting the weight of a ship. Lawrence Kusche, a reference librarian at Arizona State University, conducted a lengthy investigation into the mystery.

His conclusions cast doubt on many of the disappearances. David Crowhurst’s diaries prove his mental state to be suicidal as he sailed around the world. An area of the sea off of Japan has the same strange magnetic elements as that of the Bermuda Triangle.' 'so this means Te Bermuda Triangle is a place which is still a mystery and we shouldn't go there?!' said   Tara in a bored voice. 'yeah exactly','are you happy now Tyke? and by the way why did you wanted to know about the Bermuda Triangle? asked Sara. "well it was because i wanted to go to the Bermuda Triangle real bad  so i wanted to know more about it but thanks Sara you saved me you know? i was about to say that to my parent and if they said no i would have begged and you know how they are they would have grounded me for a month just because of demanding for stupid things" told Tyke, "ahhh Tyke you are never gonna change are you?" asked Sara. As Sara finished her sentence the school bell rang for end of break so they all went back to their classes.
