Jungkook's POV

"Let's be cool about this."

Did I heard her right? How can I be cool about this, about it? Is it really that easy, or it's just her personality? No hint of regret, nor even a bit of conscience.

Did you even love me?

I wanted to blurt out this question but that's just me being stupid when I already know the answer, so why bother?

Thinking about these silly question, I scoffed, "Alright, let's be cool about this Kim Yerim. Let's break up and never bother with each other again."

I gripped the little box inside the pocket of my Jacket. I was even happy when I went to the store with my sister to pick this gift but it will probably never reach her anymore.

We started dating each other when we were in first year High School but now that we graduated she suddenly wanted to break up, LDR? it's just an excuse.

I don't even want to ask why she wants to break up.

"Let me just ask one thing." I sighed, "Was I a terrible boyfriend?"

She looked down on her drink and thought for a while then she answered nonchalantly, "No, you were not." then sipped her drink.

"I'm glad then." It just means I'm not the problem. Then what was? What's the problem that we have to break up?

I looked at her and she was looking at me too.

Why is she so different today?

Why is she so indifferent, familiar, yet indifferent.

"We're done here right?" She took her bag just on her side and stood up looking down at me. Holding out her left hand for a handshake.

"It was nice meeting you, really."

Of course, I took her hand because of my pride and for the last time, I wanted to feel her skin on mine. I looked at her committing all part of her looks and expression that day in my mind.

5 yrs. later...

I woke up at the alarm of my cellphone, taking it while still lying on my stomach. I peeked at the time, 9:00 a.m, geez, it's still so early I went to bed 5 a.m this morning.

I closed my eyes ready to fall asleep again when I just recalled something, shit. I took my phone again and look at my messages, damn! I'm late!

Clumsily, I took my jacket, car keys and flash drive then ran out of my apartment. I have a meeting at 9!

I hurriedly drove towards the company, stopping by the nearest café to buy a coffee quickly.

I was still groggy and still lack of sleep that time, I can only remove the boogers on my eyes .

"Hey, just where are you already? It's past 9 dude!" His co worker as well as his close friend Jaehyun asked on the phone.

"I'll be there in a minute."

"You slept late didn't you? I told you not to work late last night! The client is already here."

"It was for the client, sheesh... Give me a break." I yawned at his nagging.
