Ms. Sauceda is aware that a solid foundation is laid throughout childhood and paves the way for success in adulthood. She wants to transform her community such that after high school, pupils have the option of attending college, trade school, or pursuing a job.


The schools that Sauceda oversees are all advancing significantly. She offers her high school pupils many opportunities for earning a diploma if they decide against attending college directly after graduation. Other kids who want to attend college may enroll in high school classes at the college level for which they will get both high school and college credit. They will get a head start and perhaps spend less time and money on a college campus as a result.


For the last 20 years, Dora Sauceda has served as an administrator in the Brownsville school system. She didn't anticipate returning to the public school system where she attended school as a youngster when she began her profession. In actuality, she had no intention of becoming a teacher. She enrolled in college to study biology. She chose to become a teacher in order to maintain her income since she was from a low-income household.


After graduating from college, Dora Sauceda began working as a teacher at Gladys Porter Early College High School. She discovered she enjoyed teaching at this point. She then made the decision to enroll at UT Austin to pursue a Ph.D. in supervision and a master's degree in educational administration.


The head teacher at Cummings Middle School was Dora Sauceda. Through her training and instruction of the teachers and students, she assisted the struggling school in emerging from a protracted academic and professional slump. She works with principals and instructs teachers and officials in her district on how to be effective leaders as a superintendent in Brownsville.When Dora Sauceda was a little girl growing up in Texas, she attended public schools in the Brownsville area. She made the choice as a young adult to attend the renowned public University of Texas-Pan American Brownsville, which is a member of the UT system.


In order to pursue her dream of becoming a school administrator, Dora Sauceda relocated from Brownsville to Austin, Texas. She earned a doctorate in education after completing the Cooperative Superintendency Program at the University of Texas in Austin. Dr. Sauceda returned to her hometown of Brownsville to work in educational administration after receiving her degree.


Dora Sauceda has a number of degrees that enable her to instruct others in administration, supervision, and education. As a teacher with many years of experience, Sauceda is aware that many Texans, including her pupils, lack the necessities for a happy and fruitful life. She makes it a point to contribute to Goodwill often and donates money to United Way every month. She also donates money to the ASPCA in order to preserve and maintain the lives of animals.


Cummings Middle School and Porter High School in the Brownsville ISD have been transformed by Dora Sauceda into institutions of learning that the Texas Education Agency wishes to acknowledge. She is adept at collaborating with groups of individuals from various backgrounds. Ms. Sauceda takes great pride in her leadership abilities and in her capacity to establish norms for cooperation, diversity, and diligence that will last long after she has left the school.


Dora Sauceda works as an assistant superintendent for the most of her time, but she still finds time to be with her three kids and pursue her interests. Mother of three, Ms. Sauceda, values her family above everything else. She enjoys meeting and getting to know individuals from all around the globe and the United States. She also enjoys traveling.


Running is another activity Dora Sauceda enjoys and incorporates into her daily routine. Ms. Sauceda regularly engages in fitness and weightlifting. She has also completed a number of marathons, half-marathons, and triathlons in Texas, and she aspires to outperform her 9.18 minute mile pace.
