Out in this one place in the woods, youll find a river flowing through the rocks and trees, but in that river, sits a certain truth.
There was a boy named Mathew, he lived in a small home with his mother and father. His parents were abusive to him, and towards eachother. Day after day, Mathew struggled through his cruelty, being put though hard work and worried hed be yelled at if he didnt do it. On one fortunate night, Mathew snuck out the window, to run away. He didn't know where he was going, but the boy happened to find a small river. The water in the river was clear, and the moon and stars could be seen in it. Mathew stared into the sparkling reflection of the night sky, it looked like the whole sky had been gazing at him back. Mathew finally made a decision, one that would change his life more than he knew. Mathew went back to his small hone, and crawled into bed, like he never even left. The poor boy continued to go through abuse, every day, the pain seemingly never left him. But each night, without his mother and father noticing, Mathew snuck out to see the river. It was always different, sometimes it would show dark clouds, obscuring the stars, and sometimes, it would rain and the watter would ripple. After many nights of sneaking out and days of being abused, Mathews parents had passed away, he felt so broken from this event. Even though his parents were rough and mean, he still looked up to them, and had faith. Mathew could no longer live at this house, so he went to the river, and using all of his strength and time, he built a new house at the rivers side. Many years later, Mathew still lives with a loving wife, and a beautifull daughter and son. He still lives in the house he built, and treats the river and his kids with care. Mathew teaches his children that there is always a place in the world, no matter how hard it is to belive, its true.
