He was exhausted.

But he couldn't sleep. Not now at work.

He yawned, pushing his glasses higher up his face as he rubbed his brown eyes under them. His hat fell off, and he bent to pick it up. His brown hair must be a mess by now he assumed as he propped his elbow on the cool counter and supported his head in his hand.

The door jingled and seven people walked in. Three blonds, three brunettes, and one black haired man

A beautiful blonde woman who is clearly up to date with the trends chatted and laughed with a blonde man who also dressed rather fashionably. A strawberry blonde dressed actually casually eyed the blonde woman warily as he carried his brunette friend on his back, who was almost fast asleep. The brunette wore comfortable clothing paired with a green beanie.

On the flipside, the last three people more or less stuck to their own. A tall man with dark brown hair eyed the woman with a faint look of disgust as the black haired man in formal clothing tried to stop his other friend from running up to the counter. He failed.

"Hi hi! Can I have..." The last brunette man listed off his tall order of the pastries he eyed next to the counter as well as... vodka? Do they even have vodka in this establishment?

"Zeh, you're going to waste my money," The blackhaired man grumbled as he fished out his wallet from his coat pocket. The woman walked up to the barista with a slight smirk on her overall friendly expression.

"Darlin' can I have a milk tea?" She asked as she fluttered her eyes slightly. The man she was talking to groaned as he pulled him away from the man trying to take their order.

"Azzy, stop flirting with the poor man," He said seriously before ordering two black coffees.

"A vanilla bean frappe for the sleeping Bell over there as well," the tallest of the group added as he pointed at the half awake person.

The barista nodded, writing down the order before pausing. He looked up. "I need your names."

"Zeh" Laughed, before saying: "Just use Ze for me, Z-E. Azzy for the dish, Mam 'n Luci for da black coffee, an' Bell for the sleeping lassie over 'ere."

The barista nodded, noting Beez's accent – that the author is probably butchering

So he served them their orders and sent them on their way, Azzy waving just before she left.

"Bye Henry!" She said brightly as she left the establishment. He blinked. How did she...

He looked down his apron right above the chest pocket to his left. Ah, name tag.

"So, we're following the mortal aren't we?" Azzy asked the blonde she appeared to be so fond of with a tilt of her head. They were already outside and were walking to the nearby park. The park was close enough that they'll see the shop close up for the night.

"Oh yeah, definitely," He replied as he took a sip of his coffee, hissing in pain right after.

"Luci, it's hot coffee."

"Shut it Saint."
