LULOLWAM
"Lulolwam!" A voice shouted as I walked in the forest.
Me:Where are you?
I looked around but I couldn't find anyone at all. I walked deeper until I came face to face with ruins. Old walls and statues.
Voice:Our great ancestors lived here.
I turned,a woman stood there looking at the statue. I walked to her.
Me:Nakae, that is Nakae right?
Woman:One of the greatest healers well the first female ruler.
Me:She didn't rule,her brother murdered her before she could take the throne.
Woman: Sounds like you.
Me:It is different actually. My brother has everything he needs to rule,first born,power and the mark. Nakae had those things but her brother could not accept that. I am practically part of the generation that was never meant to rule.
Woman:I wouldn't be so sure if I were, you are part of the generation that was meant to rule. If you don't get up and fight for what is yours it will be taken from you.
Me: You are funny. Fight with what?I am not stupid nor suicidal that much to go and fight a healer. I thought I could and I almost died,it was my brother.
Woman: What have they done to you?
Me:Showed me what I am,a rogue.
She stepped closer.
Woman: You are not a rogue!
It was like having out of body experience,I fell out of the dream and landed with a thud on the ground. What surprised me is that I was standing in old ruins of the old kingdom but alone in the middle of the night in my pyjamas. I turned and took off. I jumped off the fence heading inside the castle. The guards looked at me confused as I walked in my bedroom.
Voice: You are slow.
I jumped almost screaming but the woman covered my mouth.
Me:I am going crazy that's it.
Woman:Just because I took you to the old castle doesn't mean you are crazy.
Me:I am still dreaming right? You can't be real.
Woman:I am real.
Me:Who are you? What do you want?
Woman:I am your guide,each Queen get one before being crowned.
Me:I thought my mother was bluffing.
My mother once told me about guides Queens get before being crowned, you are the only one who can see them nobody else.
Me:If I become Queen.
Woman: You don't believe that you can be one.
Me:The only fighting ability I possess is running so fast and hide. I have nothing.
Woman: Do you believe that?
Me:I do. What kind of a queen will I be if I possess no power?
Woman:Not everything is about power.
Me:Nakae needs to be protected,if I can't do that there's no use in ruling.
Woman: Believe in yourself.
Me:That doesn't work here,prove yourself does and I failed a lot of times. What is the use of trying then?
Woman: You have changed, you are no longer the same girl.
Me:The stupid girl who thought she was really going to rule?I have come to accept that I am a pawn in whatever game my parents are playing. Can't just order to crown someone who has nothing.
Woman: They see the potential.
Me: What will I do with potential in the battlefield?Tell it to kill my enemies?I can see the victory already.
Woman:She was right, there's a storm brewing worse than before.
Me:There are storms everywhere guide,now if you don't mind I would love to sleep and wake up with you gone.
Woman:If you wish that I was gone you do understand that I won't return?
Me:I wish that you were gone.
Woman:So be it. There's a reason your parents know that you are the future Queen.
Me:Nice. Bye.
She disappeared,I got under my blankets. My phone vibrated,I grabbed it. "Reminder:Siso's funeral and you are not welcomed." I could feel the sob threatening to come out,I covered my face with the pillow as I sobbed. Honestly acting like I felt nothing had its consequences when I had to sleep. I cried most of the nights hoping for something or someone to hear me out there but no one. My parents were my parents but I couldn't understand their reasoning at keeping this up. I had friends before everyone found out in the most humiliating way that I didn't possess one single power of a healer nor did I bare the mark. My brother already had it but my parents said he was not the future king. I turned eighteen and had to show my powers,in front of the crowd and I was humiliated. Everyone realised what a disgrace I was. I lost friends over the years but my parents continued saying that I was to rule. My brother turned 25 and asked for his throne and my parents still disagreed. Then he challenged me for the throne, backing down meant that I was giving it up and my stupid self wanted to prove that I could get my powers. He almost killed me but he didn't,I don't know what happened exactly but when he had the chance he just stopped and moved back. In challenging one opponent had to die if you refrain from doing so, you would be imprisoned. My parents weren't home, unfortunately it was either give up the throne or have my brother imprisoned for high treason against me. They chose not to give him the throne and he was jailed for five years which meant that he was coming out after my crowning,that is if I get crowned. I wish I knew what Mom and Dad saw in me.

Me: Your Highness.
She sat on the chair looking at some papers,her red hair braided.
Red:We have decided to officially crown Angelo.
Me:That was long overdue.
Red:It was except few problems.
Me: What exactly?
Red: With me off my chair-
Me:It means that your enemies will test your son.
Red:Do you think he's ready?
Me: What you want to know is if he'll protect Malla like you?I can't promise anything Uriel Red, Angelo is his father's son,the only thing he has from you is the eyes. Time ruled the Divinity Order for over hundred years but it doesn't mean Angelo will be like him. At an early age you conquered kingdoms but it does not mean he will turn out like you. He might actually be worse or just terrible at it but giving him this opportunity is great enough and it shows that you believe in him. He's a sweetheart,he might make Malla a soup kitchen.
She laughed.
Red:Please don't remind me about that,I don't even know where he got that trait because no one in the family has that at all.
Me: You do share the same trait Uriel Red.
Red:Do you think it will be a su-
She jumped and pushed me down. I looked up,an arrow was on her hand.
Red:This stings.
Me:I didn't see that.
Angelo walked in.
Angelo:We have a problem.
Red:I have realised that.
I was confused because I had no vision of this at all and I was still not getting one.
Red: Makaziwe!
Me:Mhm.
Red:I need you to get the children to safety now!
I got up,still lost and confused. Why did my powers bail on me?I grabbed kids I could find and led them to the basement,now I had the vision but I couldn't pinpoint who were the attackers.

I jumped and landed on the ground.
Ndalo:This must be my lucky day.
Me:It is indeed your luckiest day.
I poured the acid on the chains and they snapped.
Ndalo: You took too long.
Me:The crowning is happening in two months we need to be prepared for it and end it all.
Ndalo: What are you going to do about the heavy security my parents will get for her.
Me:It is the same men that will bring her to us. This time don't fail.
Ndalo:Fail?I wasn't exactly keen on murdering my sister not thinking that my parents were capable of choosing to keep my throne from me and have me jailed for high treason. She's being influenced by them.
Me:I wouldn't be so sure if I were you.
Ndalo: What is that suppose to mean?
Me: Your sister had your best friend murdered.
Ndalo:Siso?
Me:They were in a relationship,he found something about her and she had him killed,then feigned innocence.
Ndalo: All this time he visited me,he never said anything.
Me:He called me few hours before he died saying that he found something about Lulolwam,few hours later he was dead. If you are afraid to do something about Lulolwam good for you,but if you think she's that girl you didn't kill five years then you are in for a rude awakening.
Ndalo:Siso?
I just looked at him as he got dressed,looks like I was getting way closer to the crown. All I had to do was make sure Lulolwam doesn't make it to her crowning and my brother would have to appoint Ndalo as the king.
Me:We will get that throne don't worry about it.
